Talking Need your help once again....Lamps

Knowing what a great help you guys have been all along we've followed your advice on numerous purchases and contacts. Now we're down to purchasing lamps for our new home. DW bought tons of stuff from Southern Lifestyles but didn't feel the lamps were worth the $$$$$$$. We need a "Lamps R Us" store around the Villages for our shopping pleasure before we move in. All your great experiences will be appreciated.
Thanks
Skip & Sue

Lowes has some nice lamps and I think Home Depot does also. They are much more reasonable. Also Treasures and Bargains in Oxford (right outside TV off W 466 might be able to hook you up. They are a consignment store. Don't buy all the good stuff, I am coming next month. LOL

SalyBow...It is Bargains and Treasures, my home away from home. Go there Skip and Sue. I found a terrible red lamp for ten bucks and painted it white and it looks pretty durn good. Also Salybow is RIGHT again about Lowes and Home Depot. They really have some nice lamps and Target does too. Also check Dockside over in Leesburg for other accessories. Some are terrific and some not so much.

We looked at Lowes, Home Despot, Bargains and Trashures and ended up with almost all coming from homedecorators.com, overstock.com or smartbargains.com. We bought two at a yard sale, but all the others came from those sites and were really good values. Same with all linens, some end tables, and many other odds and ends. All furniture came from Craigslist, but most accessories came from one of those sites.

We found a lot of lamps, pictures decorative plants, and knick knacks (that's what my mother called them!) at home goods. Also might want to checkout Tuesday Mornings. They can be hit or miss but you can find some great bargains there too. Or at least that's what my wife told me.
