Default Pool companies

Hello. We will be moving to TV in September and plan to have a pool built. We have heard that TandD is the best but the wait time is a long one. Has anyone had luck with other companies. We’ve been talking to All Seasons….has anyone used them? Thanks in advance for suggestions.

T&D is worth the wait.

You will hear good stories about all the vendors, there are far more bad stories about the other vendors.

If you want to run the risk of a hole in your yard for 14 months, go with another contractor. Sure, some have had pools put in in 3 months, but we’ve all seen the holes in the back yards for a year.

T&D will take more time to start, but they will be out of your yard within 2 to 2.5 months from first shovel in the ground.

I agree about waiting for T&D. They are mostly if not totally vertically integrated. Meaning they can build your pool from all in-house labor. If it’s something done by a subcontractor you can bet they have tight control over them. Most other pool companies sub out a lot of the work and therefore are at the mercy of those subs. I had neighbors who recently had a pool installed. Ground breaking was in October. Completion was in July. Vet any pool company you look into very thoroughly. Several have declared bankruptcy over the past year. I know of one couple in DeLuna that is paying T&D to complete a job where the original contractor went belly up. In order to take the job T&D is having to tear up a lot of the original work before they would issue a warranty.

Premier building many south of 44. Recently had 5 pools being built in a 3 block area.TD was highest quote of all and longest wait for start.

Not much has changed since you asked a similar question in April. Go off the “good” list that was provided to you in that post by one of the responders to your inquiry. He / she knows what they are talking about. If you like All Seasons ask about them specifically or you will get a lot of unnecessary feedback. You could even search this forum for “ All Seasons”.

Hope that helps.

I had T&D, but something happened and the rates went up appreciably and the quality of service went down appreciably, Latonia Marshall had been my pool technician while she was with T&D, but when their quality went down, Latonia left and started her own company, Touched by Angels Pool & Spa Services. She is excellent, shows up on time, does a great job of pool and spa maintenance and goes a step beyond and takes care of matters I did not even know existed. She is absolutely great. She has one other lady working for her and they both are very consiencious. Give her a call (352) 304-3447. I guarantee you won't be sorry.
