A big plus for T-Mobile for us is the international coverage. Can't be beat.

When two companies merge there is a learning curve to determine where the redundancy and overlaps are and then do something about it. Then they will have to address the better coverage and other technology issues.

In the mean time Verizon will not be sitting idly by.

We use Verizon (14 years) because they have the very best coverage nation wide. We have always had service when others (including AT&T do not). And that is why we pay the higher price. Which I believe in time Verizon will address to get more of the lower priced market.
If I were in charge, I would tell the CEO to make our network better than Verizon or get fired. And, stop paying for television ads that tell people that we are not as good as Verizon, but that we are within "one percent" of them. If we are that close, just get better. Stupid ad campaign for Sprint.

Just did the same. Stayed with T Mobile one week and went back to Verizon. Service is no where near the same.

I have been with T- almost a year. My wife and I had previously been with Sprint. We find the coverage was better with sprint overall. I know, it sounds crazy. but that is our experience.
There are dead spots all over the Villages with T-. Every time we complain, they tell us they are putting up 4 new cell towers, but service is spotty. Wife wants to change carriers.

I recently switched from AT&T to T-Mobile due to the terrible AT&T coverage. T-Mobile was better but make sure you ask for the 'signal booster'. They ask for a one time refundable deposit of $25 and no monthly charge. I now have 5 bars in my house (Fenney).

We switched to T-Mobile from AT&T for the same reason you are considering. We were lucky to get our service for the $60/mo, right before they raised the price to $70/month. We have traveled outside the US and the international service was spot on. Hubby had a meeting he needed to "attend" and used the wi-fi calling feature. He was on a conference call for 2½ hours while out of the US and there were no phone charges using the free wi-fi in the resort. Also, Hubby and I were able to text back and forth while off doing our own thing. While the service, at times, can be spotty, we are happy. We too, received a signal booster for our home at no charge or without paying a deposit. It was a leap of faith when we changed, as we had been with AT&T over 20 years. We are glad we switched. We save money eat month and don't have to worry about phone use while traveling. Good luck!

Since switching to this T Mobile plan, we no longer need to put a Mexico chip into our phones during our time in Mexico, as we did when using Verizon. It also worked great during a trip to Italy. Unfortunately, for us it works better in Mexico than here in The Villages...

I also live in the De La Vista North, we did get A booster box for free from Tmobile as we were having problems with reception in the house. Now everything works great, good luck

Since we travel between the Villages and New England I’m sticking with VZ. I too had moved to TMO where I live but had to go back to VZ.
