Default Whats up with 48 HOUR BLINDS????

We chose 48 hour blinds due to their fabulous recommendations and we placed an order in early November and they have yet to complete our shutters and for the past week we have got the run around and now they are not accepting calls nor returning messages that we have left and this morning their voice mailbox is full. WHATS UP WITH 48 HOUR BLINDS????

I must admit we are very disappointed & embarrassed as our neighbours chose other companies and they all have their blinds and we ordered ours way before they did!!

Does anyone have any idea??

Sorry to hear that. I ordered my blinds and had them installed on time with no problems but I did have to manage them closely. It seems they are very busy and can't manage the volume. Keep calling the office, talk to the owners wife and get her husbands cell #

Default What was the delivery date quoted?

We ordered our shutters just before Thanksgiving. Was told that if we wanted the shutters that have the curved tops that the delivery would be significantly lengthy. If we chose the more standard "squared-off" corners that delivery would be sometime after the 1st of the year. They were installed this past Tuesday,,,pretty much as quoted. Left several messages during that time which were returned usually next day. So,,which shutters and what was the anticipated delivery date?

Good Luck. Took them 20 months to make a half-hearted attempt to return my numerous calls and visits to their former location.

They've lived off this "too busy" excuse for not returning calls for too long.

I totally agree with LyvlyJubly - would NEVER do business with them again. If they're too busy they should redirect people to other companies. Our installer from 48 hr. (once they decided to FINALLY install the blinds after weeks of continuous calling) said that the owners wife never answered the phone even though he said alot of the time she was right there when it rang. We did get our blinds, they do look nice, however, they do also need adjustments which I've been putting off only because of the frustration of dealing with 48hr. I would pay more and go somewhere else because it's definately not worth it and they don't deserve any of my business again. People have always made excuses for them but after months and weeks of calling and seeing that other people are having the same issues, it's time to quit making excuses for poor customer service. The only recommendation is continue to call the office, continue to call Rick on his cell phone. I did it sometimes twice/three times a day........it's ridiculous.

Default We are in the same boat

I've had a terrible time with them as well. I started a thread last week about the poor customer service. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Default I went with Shutter Pro

I also heard many complaints from my neighbors about the poor service of 48 hr blinds. I got quotes from three different shutter companies and went with Shutter Pro in the end. I could not have been more pleased with the product, installation and price. I have recommended Shutter Pro to many of my friends who asked about my shutters and they too have had great results with this company.
