Default Weber Q 300 Series

Stopped by Ace Hardware on CR 466 yesterday. They had an unusally large selection of Weber grills on display, including several variations of the Weber Q 300 series--a perfect size for TV. And they deliver them all assembled. We've had one for over five years and it's as good as the day we bought it.

I'm looking at the new S330 Weber. It has the controls on the front instead of the side. I had my 1100 Genesis for 15 years and just gave it to my Daughter, it still works like a charm but I'm using the "Moving" excuse to get a new one. I'm not sure if I want to go LP or natural gas? Any input on that?

If you have the option of Natural gas, I'd go that way. If you do not mind having your grill in one stationary place, the benefit of never having to refill a tank is awesome!

Just make sure you have a shut-off both at the house and nearer to the grill for code. Get in the habit of keeping the valve turned off when not cooking, to minimize the chance of someone turning a grill knob and wasting huge amounts of gas......imagine that bill!

Imagine never running out, no tanks to go get filled and changed, etc. Plus it is WAY cheaper. Even with the cost of running a gas line, it would be cheaper. You could even run a few lines and use quick connects so the grill would not have to be in one place, and could be stored safely in the garage when you are on vacation.
