I received 4 estimates when I replaced my roof last February and I chose Eustes over others. Skyline was by far the most expensive.
100% satisfied with Eustes from start to finish. Now, McGinnis has partnered with them.

If you can share, what generally were your estimates? We are looking to buy a home in Caroline on Johnstone Path and the roof has to be replaced. A realtor told me that roofs are very cheap about 10k for this size. I wanted to get an guesstimate from a couple of companies, but both said I had to be the owner, not a potential buyer. I guess those roofing companies didn't really need a job. Wonder if Eustes or Skylight can do a drive-by and give a guesstimate?

Skylight could not match Sack Roofing for same roof. Went with Sack- great job

3 months ago, we had a roof put on our 1200 sq ft place here in TV. Had a few estimates from the other high end roofing companies in the area. When I say high end companies, I am talking about the ones that use their own equipment and employees to do the job and are local. Many of these roofing companies rent equipment and use subs to put the new roof on. I would imagine this would cause a vast inconsistency in work quality.
We narrowed it down to Batterbee and Skylight. Batterbee for some reason during their meeting with us hit us with a very high estimate. When we said no, he then said he could do better with a second estimate. When we said no, he then came back with a lower third estimate. It was kinda crazy as we started to feel like we were buying a car.
Then Skylight gave us one estimate with the same quality materials that Batterbee was showing us. Skylight ended up with the job and was around 20 percent less in price. It pays to get educated and shop.

We also used Eustis Roofing 3 years ago after several estimates. It came down to them and McHale roofing who were both local and have been around a long time. I’ve heard now the 2 have now merge to just Eustis.

Eustis did a great job and their cleanup was excellent

So, my Q is: why all the roof replacements? Is this because of Insurance Companies threating to cancel coverage? If so, what is the "magic" roof age # to trigger their demand?

Seems Insurance companies should attack the Shingle Companies for product defect....
