Here is a quick and seamless decorator idea for valences. Purchase a fancy table runner, preferably with triangular ends and tassels. Buy the skinny rods and rings with clips. Simply install rods and clips and attach one long edge of the table runner to the clips. The pointed end and tassels hang freely. This will work for narrow windows or for wide windows. You just have to purchase enough matching table runners to fit the window space.
