Not "also", more like "exclusively" It's been over a year, when will people get it through their heads that a routine paper mask does almost nothing to protect the wearer. Yet, even now, we find people wearing a mask alone in their car, cycling, walking alone, etc. And please, no one post they are doing that because of "allergies". If that were true we would have seen hundreds of people wearing masks pre-COVID, but we didn't.

Nice job inserting the word paper. There is a list of recommended masks, that isn’t on it. Cars without brakes do nothing to prevent accidents, why is the government promoting cars😁

One American's freedom stops where my nose begins. In other words one's freedom not to vaccinate stops where it endangers my health. That is why smoking is prohibited in restaurants and restricted in public places. And we all conform to this standard!

IF the gov. mandates the wearing of masks inside regardless of whether or not vaccinated, I think the message they will be giving is that there is no use getting the vaccination. I have no intention of wearing my mask anywhere other than medical facilities.
Has anyone been following the death by Covid rate lately? Big deal that there might be a spurt of Delta variant cases, when the death rate is still at an all time low.
I was hesitant on the idea of getting the vaccination since I do not get the flu shot and have never had the flu. BUT, I did get the Covid vaccination to protect my spouse. However, if the gov feels that we must still wear a mask, then I have no intention of getting a booster shot. If the death rate remains low, then the message must be flawed.
Like I have said before, I am NOT going to encourage anyone to get the shot, even though I did get mine. I also will not discourage anyone from obtaining their vaccination.
I will wear a mask IF I feel it prudent, NOT because someone I do not trust tells me that I must. If a convincing argument is made, I will go back to the mask. So far, no one has convinced me.

They work...to do what they are designed to do.

REDUCE RISK.

They will reduce your risk of getting the virus. They will reduce your risk of spreading the virus.

They won't prevent anything, except perhaps other people being subjected to your bad breath, if you have it, or seeing your bad teeth, if you have those.

But yes masks work to varying degrees, depending on the mask, in reducing risk of transmission of COVID-19.
