I put all the mRNA pasts in one thread since it gets rehashed all the time.

Although saying Covid is old news might be an overstatement........... It may be to you and I, but I can't help commenting when someone quotes false or misleading information gleaned from some crazy site and quoting it like it is gospel...

Seems like a desperate plea or attempt to prove to oneself that they made the right decision to get the vaccination. To be honest with you, the more I read about this stuff the more I am wondering whether or not we made the right decision to get the vaccination. AND, I am not sure that making children get the vaccination at this early stage, when the virus is not very dangerous to them in general, is not such a great idea either.
At this point, after reading all the comments on here and listening to all the desperate folks attempting to convince others that they made the right decision to get vaccinated, I have made a preemptive decision to NOT get the booster shot when offered.
I keep hearing such ideas as "mandatory mask wearing" "mandatory vax passports" "madatory vaccination IDs" etc. I have never heard so many folks demanding that the gov MANDATE their opinions and wants in my life. And the free give-aways is getting out of control.
Never has the population of America been so weak minded and spineless, and so dependent on the gov nanny.
Discussing the merits of vaccination is one thing, but to insist that everyone agree with you or be declared stupid, UN-American, UN-patriotic, ignorant, etc. is proving that you do not have the ability to respect other folks' views.
Against my prudent reasoning, I got my shots months ago. Now, I will resume normal living and I will only wear a mask IF I develope a cold or other possible contagious illness. Until this started, I NEVER owned a mask other than one in my workshop for using paint stripper or sanding. I do not care if you want to get the vaccination or not. It's none of my business what you do and I respect your opinion, whether or not I agree with it. Quit trying to force others to reinforce your decision. I will always resist anything from the gov that attempts to FORCE us to do something against the will of a substantial portion of our population.
I applaud the past administration for Warp Speed and it's attempt to provide a solution, but I also applaud any leaders that are allowing their constituents to make their own decisions, such as has been done here in Florida.
Like one very famous person once said "beware of the words: I am from the gov and I am here to help you." paraphrased.

Getting vaccinated or not is a personal choice. Why can’t you just leave it at that and move on with your life? If you’ve been vaccinated there is nothing for you to worry about.

The consequences are likely the variants, but one could still contract COVID 19.
The COVID vaccine was not an overnight development. It was the result of years of study. Some of us would have preferred more study on humans, but it was the best available weapon against the virus. Thank God we have an administration that is allowing true scientists to come out of the foxholes and help.
