That’ll be fun to try to enforce. I have friends in NY. Obdurate to say the least.

If it's not good enough for Cuomo it's good enough for me, I'll be ready and willing. How much testing goes into the new flu vaccines every year or is it always the same?

I've been wondering how they know if a vaccine is effective? Are people who get the vaccine exposed to the live virus?

Well what they really did is pass a "resolution", which legally means squat.

"The New York State Bar Association on Saturday passed a resolution urging the state to consider making it mandatory for all New Yorkers to undergo COVID-19 vaccination when a vaccine becomes available, even if people object to it for “religious, philosophical or personal reasons.”

I'm sure mandatory vaccinations will be fought in the Supreme
Court(s), again, if and when the time comes.

Biden seems very worried about the virus so he should be first in line to get this vaccine. Same with Fauci and Harris.
It is not known yet how long protection (immunity) from the virus will last after a person has had the virus.

I heard on MSNBC today that Pfizer has a third party conducting the vaccine trials. The Pfizer CEO was notified only yesterday, Nov. 8th, at 2:00pm of the news that was announced today.

The timing of this announcement had nothing to do with the election.

They see if the subjects develop effective antibodies.

The State Bar qualifies their statement by saying that making vaccines mandatory should not be the first option. If voluntary vaccinations are sufficiently high, it's not necessary.

I've been just fine without any vaccines. No way will I have that injected into my body.

I assume you don't travel extensively. There are many parts of the world where certain vaccinations are highly recommended. You almost certainly had some vaccinations as a child.

Anaphylactic for the flu vaccine, I’m certainly not going to take a risk on a vaccine that has been on the market for a few months.
But if New York does think that they can impose a law everyone must get the vaccine, their families might end up with a very large lawsuit payout, for anyone who has adverse reactions

Best thing to do is get tested to see if you have the antibodies. It's very simple and fast with no nasal swab, and it will change belief into reality.

They vacinate half a population with the vaccine and the other half without. And then monitor who gets COVID and who does not. At his point, it appears that out of +35,000 participants, close to 100 have gotten COVID, only 9 of those who received the vaccine got COVID.

They do not expose participants to the virus.

There are trials called "challenge trials" where they give people the experimental vaccine, then give them the live virus. These trials are considered unethical by many. However, they are highly efficient and fast. There is a group in England that wants to run challenge trials and the last time I looked, they had 37,000 people that would volunteer for such trials.
