Dr. Fauci as a modern American achieved that goal - he was brilliant in College AND a superb athlete. How many here locally that feel free to criticize him have those credentials? And of those, how many have given 40 years of their life to science, mankind, government service? Think about it objectively. Dr. Fauci's critics are really only saying that he is BAD because he did not fall in line and march with the 35% of the US population - those that have been propagandized into a lemming-like trance and following a cult ideology. I feel sorry for this 35%. They "know not what they do"!

Eventually Abraham Lincoln will catch up with them - "you can't fool 35% of the people ALL of the time". Cults come and they go. Soon this one will disappear from history. Legitimate sources of information like the CDC, DR. Fauci, and traditional network TV channels can help those now stricken with overloads of propaganda to see past the cult panderers that are driven by power and money. We live in a confusing and rapidly changing time period. Florida leaders have gone against the 35% to agree with the CDC and recommend vaccines for almost ALL Floridians. The Abraham Lincoln effect is beginning to take hold.
Your worship aside, Fauci has not been involved in actual research for decades...

His initial work with AIDS was brilliant, but then, he became a bureaucrat, which he has been for the last 30 years...

My problem with him is his initial lie that masks were not effective, and his earlier (under the radar) resumption of Gain of Function studies that Obama had stopped...

Maybe if you were not so "cult like" in your adoration, you could see things more clearly...

If we’re going to talk about traveling then need to know how many people travel in Florida daily bringing virus in?

In the ABC version of this, we see this reminder:

"Morse reported most individuals are experiencing "mild symptoms." According to medical experts, fully vaccinated individuals are far less likely to become severely ill, and hospitalized, if infected with COVID-19."

That's the beauty of the COVID vaccines (and actually the flu vaccine as well): it's possible to become infected, however the symptoms are milder than they would be if you weren't vaccinated at all. Imagine how sick some of these vaccinated people would have been, if they caught the virus and were NOT vaccinated.

It's really more reason to vaccinate.

Fauci is responsible for funding the gain of function research that led to Covid 19 and the resulting pandemic. And it was done in a sneaky way to violate a ban that was in place at the time. Even the Washington Post admitted this.

Look at how quickly the narrative moved from - if you’re vaccinated you can’t get Covid, unless you’re in the 5% - to; well you can still get Covid, but it just won’t be as bad…

Just curious, where did this virus start? God didn't create this virus. Where and why and who? With all the deaths worldwide this should be a number one investigation.

Even though we in the community are probably (and I'm guessing here) maybe 80% vaccinated, people are visiting family or have grandkids who are not vaccinated, which could fuel the spread. Even though vaccinated, I wear a mask in some public settings like the grocery store, to protect other whose immunity may be compromised (cancer treatments for example) who have been unable to be vaccinated or the vaccination may not be as effective for them. And to help control the spread of variants and mutations.
You are a better person than I am because I'll be damned if I wear a mask to protect people who refuse to protect themselves. As for those who are immune compromised and or are not able to get the vaccine, sorry, but they will just have to do what it takes to protect themselves such as wear an N95 mask when out in public. Don't count on me to do the protecting any more.

Variants? Vaccinated don't spread the virus like the un-vaccinated so I'm not worried that I'm responsible for any variants.

Conspiracy theory much?
