Well, yeah, Peachie,

I know. I get all that. And one night on here somewhere we got into a discussion of Sam Elliot and that one worked for everybody as I recall.

But for the life of me, for all these years, I cannot figure out Charles Kuralt. Charles Kuralt! (Yes, I know he is not around anymore.) But this went on for years. At a party one night, I was doing shameless confessions and a friend I have known forever looked at me and screamed, "CHARLES KURALT!! ME, TOO!!" And neither of us could figure out why.

Now Judd Hirsch though. I do get. I think. But still. Not exactly a hunk either. But certainly way ahead of Charles Kuralt in that department. But he has to be Alex on Taxi. Although I did learn on here that he is in a new show that I would probably like, but I keep forgetting to watch it. Taxi was a long time ago. But I am still not over it.

So Peachie, don't you have any shameless confessions to make about somebody who makes everybody who hears your confession say, "Huh?"

If you look back in this thread, you will see a confession last April from someone who shamelessly loved Ed Asner. But I do not know what happened to her. I have not seen her around here. I hope she was not too embarrassed to return after that long ago confession. Because I totally understood what she was saying.

And isn't this a lot more fun to talk about than the news. I have been doing way too much of that all week.

Looked at Snopes.com about an explanation for Clark Gable's bad breath which turned out to be from false teeth. He lost these from a June 1933 bout with a bad infection that stuck with him that month.

I will have to watch Gone with the Wind again to see how good false teeth were in 1939.

Clark Gable! Hands down!!! Was in love with him as early as grade school. Doesn't matter if he had bad breath or not...I never got that close.

Tom Selleck...gorgeous, when he was the Marlboro Man I hung his pic in my office, never have done that with any other celeb.

Sam Elliot...absolutely yes! Hmmmmm, my guy is in the same "type" category as these men. Think I'll go see what he is doing.

I was absolutely mesmerized by Stone on Dateline in the early 90's and I read recently that Jane Pauly would be so distracted by his good looks sometimes that she had difficulty concentrating. I could go on and on but his picture tells the story.

I never really had a big crush until I saw Michael Douglas in the Streets of San Francisco in the early 70's and I have been, and still am, mesmerized by him.

How interesting that my all time favorite movie of his, Wall Street, is now so timely with its "Greed is Good" theme!

I agree Ed Asner is a sweet teddy bear but, Boomer, Stone is as you say a "hunk a hunka, AND he also has a great name AND the biggest attraction for me is that he is very cerebral. Love that in a man!!
