Finally took the golf cart all the way up to Wal-Mart on 466! And bought two beautiful Hidden Lily plants and then had to try and figure out how to get them home. Hahaha!

Just got back from an annual 4 day trip to Granville Ohio where my son-in-laws family lives. I was with my daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandkids. They have a wonderful 4th of July parade and celebration. My daughter ran in the Firecracker 5 race. Great time!

I am excited b/c I have rented a home in TV for the months of September and October. The really hard part will be leaving my family. I am also coming to TV for 5 days in August from the 14th to the 18th so I can join the TOTV folks at Crispers on the 15th. It sounds like I can count on all of you to help me stay brave without my family. This is really out of character for me, striking out on my own, but I know it is the right thing to do.

oh, as long as Im in this thread, gotta tell you, I talked a friend into comming to the shelter instead of going to a breeder. Well, she adopted the most adorable pup! A Westie husky mix that looks 100% Westie. It is so precious and it has one blue eye and one brown. as soon as I get a picture I will post it. Very rewarding day indeedy! ;D

I had new carpet installed in the bedrooms.

I hired Amy Newsom to stain my driveway, sidewalk, patio, lanai, and garage! Her prices are unbelieveable and she has an outstanding reputation for quality work.

I went to the pool for a couple of hours and then read...or I should say finished a book this afternoon.

Just returned from D'Lites. You have to try their irish cream, dark chocolate swirl,and(drum roll please) ....... it is only 40 calories....to die for.

On a dull, rainy day, sat in my comfy lounger with laptop on lap and read TOTV threads. So enjoyable, especially when we're in MA for the summer. TOTV keeps us close to home, namely TV.....b

Went with vetman to try and buy a HDTV for the living room. This is always a drama and a huge negotiation process. The one I really wanted, he wouldn't buy. Well, we finally agreed on one and wouldn't you know it -- they were out of stock! What am I doing good for myself, you ask? I am not putting a pillow over his darling little head as he sleeps. ;D

We returned from a 7 day visit to relatives and old neighbors in New York (our first since we moved here). So glad to be back HOME!!!!
