If you are suggesting that the grouping of players in the foursomes (for a tee time request with multiple foursomes) matter, I don't believe that is correct. I believe what matters is the average number of points for all players in the request, regardless of how they are arranged in the foursomes. Perhaps I misinterpreted what you said?? After points, the time window matters a great deal. If you are content with afternoon tee times, then the probability of a denial goes down when compared to requesting a morning time window.

I doubt that would ever be considered and I doubt there is enough room.

Maybe due to the fact that fewer are willing to pay $70 to play on these tracks.

Another solution - limit P&P's to only allow top flight x out golf balls. The courses will play like 7000 yards.

The first hole is 59 yards and the second hole is 65 yards. When you add the walk from the first hole to the second hole, that is at least another 30 yards. Third and fourth are 97 and 74. Fifth and sixth are 57 plus 58. Seventh and eighth are 105 and 104. Ninth and tenth are 110 and 65. Eleventh and twelfth are 59 and 91. Thirteenth and fourteenth are 90 and 55. Fifteenth and sixteenth are 78 and 60. Seventeenth are eighteenth are 82 and 72. |

Absolutely false. I live near Marshview and Richmond and drive by them virtually everyday. They are closer to full than empty almost everyday unless the weather is bad.

Sounds like the Tuesday "Men's Day Tournaments". Priority with handicaps; do they limit participation at all with these?

You need space between the holes with the much longer distances of an Executive course. You can't have the tee boxes on top of the greens like you do at many of the holes at Richmond - too dangerous. Also, Richmond has very small tee boxes. An executive would need much more space for tee boxes so the tees can be moved around to distribute the wear. Also, the Richmond greens are tiny. You would need larger greens and larger sand traps for an executive course. While the number of holes decreases the amount of space per hole would go way up. No way there is enough room.

It's after effect of Covid. During the height of Covid everything was shut down except golf. It was the only game in town. People who never even thought of playing golf started to play because there was nothing else to do. As a result, we have way more players today than 3 or 4 years ago. No fun, but we gotta live with it.
