Second chance was at the bathroom but no you couldn't fill a cup due to lack of pressure. Third chance at last water station didn't have any water period!!! Sorry but this is unacceptable!! Remember the good old days when the ambassadors drove up and asked if you wanted some cold water; they say they can't do it safely any more when you ask. Just another example of poor golf management; or as they like to say blame it on the weather!!
Bottled water not cheap anymore, beside’s not requirement to furnish bottled water anyway.

I never rely on someone else to provide beverages for me. Beside’s with all horror stories related to water coolers won’t catch me drinking from one.

Guess this applies to you also…

I bring one Yeti, my ‘bubba’ (a 68-oz. Yeti with lots of ice), a Gatorade and sometimes frozen washcloths. Works quite well.

Actually, OP probably feels better now that he has vented his displeasure. Mission accomplished.

We’ve had 3 + years now to get “unused to it” .

That is the not so new norm ….

In the past during a full moon the guy turned into a werewolf. Now due to global warming this will happen when you are in the sun without water.

Did they not teach you that in med school way back when?

I saw a guy take off his hat and dip it in one of the orange drinking water jugs at the pickleball courts. Disgusting!! Who wants to drink lice. Bring your own bottled water and cooler.

OP posted he played at Bonifay. The resident pro at that course.

Brett Sherman, Pro

Bio

He attended Florida State University and has a degree in business administration and hospitality. He has been a PGA member since 2005 and has been with The Villages since 2005.

Wonder why/who decided it would be a good idea to NOT have the ambassadors offer cold water ? Is there any chance that, in the future, they will begin putting "for sale" bottles of water on all ambassador carts ? I know probably not "beer/sandwich" offerings as that involves licenses, health inspections, etc. but perhaps at least selling the previously free water ? Who knows ! Have not even checked, is free water still offered to tennis and pickle ball players ?
Yes, there are water coolers at the pickleball courts, but after reading posts about players witnessing people taking off sweaty neck scarfs and do-rags and dipping them inside to get them cold, most in our group bring there own ice water.
