Tee times 101.

You can usually ALWAYS get a tee time if you are ONE and put NO restrictions as to courses and times.

When you submit two or more then each and all of the groups golf activities are submitted to the computer and if any in the group has played a LOTof golf in the previous week then you drop a little. If you ask for certain courses or certain times when so many are asking, you may NOT get any.

If a member of your group doesn't show up then they are charged points and the group will further drop from the top of the list next week..if you play weekly.

This is high season. A lot of people who aren't seasoned golfers will put in and then NOT show up.

I think this is the most fair way of getting tee times I have encountered in my life and I have been playing golf for 40 plus years. ( I started when I was two, don't count, it is the NEW math)

If you want to play golf put no restrictions on your request on where or when you play AND keep in mind this is the busiest time of the year, you may still get bumped.

Most people put in so they can go to lunch or do "nine and dine" and so those times are most requested.

Put in as EARLY as they will take reservations for the date you want. If you snooze, you lose.

Know what to expect and how to ask and quit blaming Oz.
