Since my husband retired he has gotten into a lot of barter type situations with friends and neighbors. He loves it because he would rather not sit idle and his only real hobby is going to the gym - too much work and no play over the years. So he's done house sitting, pet sitting, and helps friends with their contracting businesses.

One funny thing he did was he rearranged the neighbor's family room furniture when they were away. I asked him why would you do that?? He said he thought it looked better the way he arranged it. Then I asked what happens if they don't agree?? He replied, I'll just put it back where it was.....duh (what I think he was thinking about my question, not what he actually said to me). Long story short they came home and loved it!! So guess whose furniture got rearranged next? Our living room, and guess what? I love it! I guess he has NOTHING but another talent I never knew about in the 35 years of living under the same roof! LOL

That he is, and NOTHING but helpful too. I will toot his horn for him and say he is a great person to have as a neighbor and/or friend. Always there if you need anything. Unfortunately, sometimes it interferes with his honey-do list at home, but a honey nonetheless and you just gotta love his heart for others.

Thank God, I have a friend who still hasn't figured it out. Her last boyfriend was a Catholic priest. I tried to tell her it was a mistake but NOTHING I said made a difference. He dumped her when he got caught and went through "counseling" for his "problem" and then got reassigned.

Gee, so maybe I should try again and it will get even better?!?

NOTHING doing........counting my blessings.

Truth be told, we did a lot of practicing on each other and it certainly wasn't always pretty. At first, probably the only thing we had in common was our career paths. We were both raised very differently so we had a lot to iron out along the way. But I think what helped us was 2 things - we were friends first, before we even started dating, and as a result we were good at keeping communication lines open. That was one thing my friends always noticed about us - we could talk about everything and anything........and no secrets. It wasn't always easy and still isn't sometimes, but we always come back to the fact that we truly are each others best friend.

Darn, we sure covered a lot of territory on NOTHING today!

Btw, forgot to mention - NOTHING but glad to hear that the 2 of you found the right mates for you. Sounds like W did too. Believe me when I say I just got lucky the first time around. No magic formula here, just the way it worked out.

Ok, so wrong genre.......how about drama? I can create a lot of that, especially if someone will pay me for it. How's that for NOTHING?

Hi you bunch of beautiful NOTHINGS, sorry I’m late. I can relate with a whole lot of the posts today. I love fw’s pup and W’s pup didn’t eat a bone it looks like he smoked a Bone. Both dogs large and in charge.

Sorry about your Bro Tal. That’s a rough one. I just don’t know. There is plenty of pain to go around with addiction.

I’m a member of the Club on getting it correct the second time. I think I told you I just got a three years Marriage Contract Extension, With a Signing Bonus. Ooo La La.

Goodnight you all.
