When I first started reading your post, I thought you were going to say you applied for a job. That would really be more than NOTHING.

I was thinking the same thing..

Although the wife is ready to speed up our move date. Her body does so much better in warm weather. While we were on the cruise she had no pain. When we got home to the wet and cold her joints went back to hurting as usual..

As sad as it is to say, we have to wait for her parents to go to the retirement home in the sky. As soon as they pass we will be moving. They are 84 and 85 and starting to decline more rapidly.

NOTHING will make me sadder than to see them go, but NOTHING will make me happier than to move someplace the wife isn't in near constant pain.

After saying all that, what I really mean is that I might be applying to Lowes once we get there.. lol

Don’t ya hate when life gets in the way of stuff. Let’s hope your in-laws find themselves together at the same time in the forever NOTHINGVILLE. NOTHING worse than earthly loneliness.

Glad to hear the news, but understand the need to wait. NOTHING like getting along with the in-laws. I'm sure that helps to keep you in place until the proper time.

We find that being in TV seems to improve our health and overall outlook as well. At first we thought it was just the typical vacation feel that you get, but we've been going to TV for at least 7 years now and it is too consistent to be just that. The warmer, sunnier weather does a lot for one's joints and mental health as well. This is the first winter that my husband has complained about being here so we'll see. In the meantime, I'm focusing on continuing to work for now in case we have to carry 2 houses in the process. NOTHING like enjoying your job - if I didn't, it would not be very pleasant here in PA.

I will have to work on that NOTHING project. If anyone has any ideas, throw them out there. Please keep it NOTHING but clean though. Why do I feel I have to mention that? Which makes me wonder, where's Big Al been the past couple of days?

Bring the in laws with you. There are plenty of assisted living facilities around here. They might feel better here as well.

We’re NOTHING but fortunate. We have many friends who have been married for decades, and our 49th is coming up in August.

Okay, not for NOTHING, but my husband's aunt and uncle were married for more than 80 years. Yeah, you read that right - unbelievable! His aunt is still living, uncle died a couple of years ago. Everyone thought for sure that both would go at the same time. After all, they had been together almost their whole lives. Although she misses him terribly, she's still going strong even though she had a stoke many years back. Her mind is very sharp - I just love being around her. I have a very good friend who is 93 as well. I just love being around that generation and hearing things from their perspective. NOTHING else like it.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 35th in April. Sometimes it's hard to believe, the time goes by so fast.
