I know where all the rain was. NOTHING but details tomorrow.

I didn't do the damage over there Tal I have proof of where I was in Virginia because I got NOTHING but a big fat ticket for transporting the mattress on the roof, You were right Mrs. BK, I shoulda Snagged the Towels instead.

Details of the trip tomorrow if I get up and I'm gonna try the Santa pictures with a little help from my technical advisor, Mrs. FW, I hope my Credit is Still Good. Good Night You Alll.

I got on the ground like The Pope when we got home and almost couldn't get back up. I think we drove 13 or 14 hours and over 650 miles. Have to verify with the boss tomorrow.

Good morning Sweet Nothings. Looking forward to hearing Nuckish tales of Unicorns and Curtain Climbers and a few photos to boot.

When we moved here we did it in two 13 or 14 hour drives and I swore I would never do it again. Four hours is pretty much tops for me. God bless Mrs Nucky. NOTHING but dying to hear the story.

Home sweet home, Nucky. So glad to hear that you and the better half arrived safe and sound.......and to great weather to boot from the sounds of it. How can it get any better than that? What a long ride that was.......can't wait to hear the details.

Can't believe I'm sleeping in so late. Three nights of 8+ hours of sleep - unheard of for me! I guess I NOTHING but need it because I seem to be feeling much better. Even with the rain my sinuses are hardly acting up at all and I haven't had to take any meds for the last 3 days.

Hubby's home today and has more plans for us. This time it is doing some of our continuing ed lessons together. He has such wonderful "date" ideas..........

Today is Saturday, December 29th. Looking forward to a happy and healthier New Year for all of us and our loved ones.

Found the Lethal Weapon series with Mel Gibson and Danny Glover fun.

This one of Gibson is quite good--

I hope Nucky has a good trip back the Villages. My last traffic ticket was in the far west of Texas about 50 miles east of El Paso, Texas just outside of a small town in the late Spring of 1996. I recall the female officer asking me if I had any weapons on me. I did have some in the trunk but certainly NOTHING within reach. I was travelling from the Santa Rosa, CA area and went through parts of Los Angeles as well as the Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater, Albuquerque, and had stopped to rest in Van Horn, Texas. I took a very meandering trip around Texas going to places in Texas I had not been in yet or through like San Antonio and Austin. Was alone in all these wanderings. This journey was about a week or so.

I had started to speed a bit on my way out of Van Horn. Van Horn, Texas - Wikipedia

Space dreams boost tiny Texas town - Technology & science - Space - New Space Race | NBC News

I see that space civilian travelers could be blasting off from not too far from Van Horn.

One of our best trips ever was from Phoenix to Sedona to the Grand Canyon and then east stopping at little towns every 4 hours along the way towards Albuquerque for the balloon fiesta. I was very surprised going through one of the Indian reservations how there was NOTHING for hundreds of miles, not a restaurant or a fast food place. By the time we made it out we were starving.

I loved seeing all those balloons and not for NOTHING. I had traveled from Reno, Nevada to Denver about 4 times in 1983-1984 always taking different routes and sometimes using the roads least taken. Fearlessness can get you in trouble though. Pulled into one city where they had no gas as they had lost electricity and I decided to try to get to the next station with gas which was quite a distance away. At about ten at night I was going on fumes but it was downhill after I had had a long climb uphill. Finally got gas but they had no hotel. Later pulled into a rest stop at 2 in the morning or so and some creep tried to carjack me. I was half asleep but managed to get the car door away from him. He had threatened to slam it on my legs if I did not get out of the car. Thought for a split second about running him over but backed up instead. Only made it a hundred more miles or so before I had to pull over to sleep. I should have reported that incident to the police but did not. I was just extremely tired. This was on Highway 50 in eastern Nevada. And earlier on some highways in Utah that connect to it. U.S. Route 50 in Nevada - Wikipedia

I do remember the man who attempted the carjacking as a white slender guy in dark slacks and a white shirt. Maybe about 5' 6" if that. Clean shaven and maybe around 35-45. He was running to a large RV when I was backing up. There were about six other vehicles in the rest stop. All dark though at 2 in the morning.

Good morning.. NOTHING planned for today. Expecting another wind storm with rain. So I'll grab some coffee and my Kindle and occupy the couch.

You're up a little earlier than usual just for NOTHING.......lol

Won't it be nice when we're both in Florida down the road and we won't have to deal with this ongoing crappy weather? It's mild here today though and the sun is out. The problem is it doesn't last.

Hope you don't end up with any flying pigs in your yard this time....

Florida doesn't have crappy weather? NOTHING would make me happier. But I hear they have those things called hurricanes. The thunderstorms I'm looking forward to. The hurricanes not so much.

The difference is it doesn't last. Showers one minute, gone the next. Lots and lots of sunshine. You know the drill. But hey, if you'd rather stay where you are with NOTHING but your head in the clouds (literally!), then go right ahead........

The Hoh Rainforest is NOTHING but beautiful. Hoh Rainforest - Wikipedia

About 8 years ago we actually were fighting fires there at Hurricane Ridge.

Washington is certainly diverse. We have the mountains on the Olympic Peninsula. The Cascades which run down the middle of the state and then the high desert on the east side. Something for everyone.

K-Man, can you really NOTHING but see Russia from your couch or are you just pushing our collective legs?

If you guys would like to take an educated guess do you think the trip was Jacked Up because of Migratory Humanoids heading South or Holiday traffic or the Combo Plan?

The funniest thing that happened that I keep playing over and over again in my head is our youngest Granddaughter who just loves her Grandma said something that was NOTHING but amazingly funny.

Grandma slept with Granddaughter one night and they were reading stories and signing and playing with toys and all the good fun stuff when Grandaughter says to Grandma with a straight face... Grandma your toenails are Jacked Up. 4 years old, they are like sponges, where in the hell did she pick that up?

Now anything that is marginal on The NOTHING Thread will be hereby decried to be Jacked Up! Please add to the Manifesto.

Mrs. Nucky could have the entire world collapsing and the hair and nails every 3 to 4 weeks. Where do these kids get this stuff? More later Gators. So grateful to be here, I know you know what I mean.
