Not sure if this reference to a song for fiddles has a hidden meaning or not, but you sure find references to Napoleon Bonaparte in strange places. Very few of these places are bland. You might have to become quite the hiker to work off the calories from this dessert linked below which I assume celebrates Napoleon's defeat in Russia in his long march back from Moscow. Still dictators do not learn from the history books as Hitler tried the same kind of march and the result was the same kind of impact on his dreams of world conquest. They both should have used their noodles rather than going back yet again as tyrants are prone to do to the victories of Alexander the Great.

Pierre-Simon Laplace - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Napoleon made a small splash in the history of science with his support of the astronomer Pierre Laplace whom he made Minister of the Interior. He only lasted six weeks in the position however probably because Napoleon needed a very respected star in his cabinet to brighten the image of his government. It got rather smoggy after Napoleon replaced mathematician Laplace with one of his many brothers. Laplace did some interesting work on the orbits of the moon and earth.
