Default Palm tree removal

I just had my last Queen palm removed yesterday by Bowen's Tree Service. They are by far the best I have ever seen. They make those guys with the bucket trucks look like beginners. Did it in half the time too. Yes, they are licensed and insured and competitively priced.

Just curious of what is the price. We have a Washingtonia that needs removing. We had someone stop by who said they would do it for $200. Found out after questioning them they were not going to remove the ball, just cut it off above the ground. We said no thanks. Did they remove the ball?

They ground the stump about 6" below ground level, they couldn't go deeper because there is a lamppost wire there somewhere. They charged me $300. Valleycrest charged me $750 for 2 trees and wanted $490 for this one.

Default Just had two queens flush cut.

We just had two queen palms removed. It was OK for us to simply 'flush cut' instead of dealing with the ball.

Greenside UP did the work and charged $275 for whole job. I have used Hector for various things over the past few years and am always pleased...

Two of my palm trees trunks have black on them and the trunk is starting to crumble. Are they experts enough to tell me what's wrong? Thanks.

Had several queens removed. I called ARC and was absolutely told that there is NO requirement for approval for removing palms and no requirement for replacement. The rule is for canopy trees only and that palms are not canopy trees

It is clearly stated here:
Village Community Development Districts as the bottom FAQ on the page.

Where are you seeing the black....near the bottom, mid, or top? Does the tree look healthy otherwise ? Is this palm a queen?
