As far as Temu mostly if not same you see on Amazon, Walmart, ect. Most all stuff made in China now thanks to greed. Why make it when can just distribute it? I use to buy USA only if I could but that ship has sailed 30 years ago. And you find product here usually says assembled in USA…

I’d like to get away from roundup, I think I killed two palms (no big lost they was over grown and getting trunk rot anyway) spraying too close. Roundup sometime takes two passed also.

See if it’s cost effective. Even though bottle can be refilled I doubt I’ll try it? Gallon roundup last me nearly year, so that’s’ 4 or maybe 3 bottles of propane?
There have been MANY warnings made about Temu. Sometimes the prices and weird things for sale seem amazing, but even clicking on the site can and searching on it can open your computer to sharing information you should net be sharing with a site in bed with the Chinese security services. If you buy something, they now probably have your address, phone number, email address, and credit card number—with the security code. I won’t even LOOK. Just say no. This is NOT the same as buying from WalMart or Amazon or Home Depot online.

I got scammed this week by some lowlifes pretending to be my bank calling about a couple questionable charges from overseas. They had a lest of everything I had charged on the card this month, and they had a lot of information about me they said was from my credit report. (But that info is available to any of us online for a few dollars per name.) I really should have know better. They kept me on hold (without music) for two and a half hours. I came to my senses a couple hours later, called my card issuer (two cards), and cancelled them and reported the scam. The issuer checked and confirmed that there had been NO phony charges. It was all part of the scam. I then cancelled the card on the sites where I buy things and registered a different card the scammers didn’t know about. Then I went to the three credit rating agencies, registered a fraud alert, and blocked credit checks from them. So it’s a lot of bother, but it didn’t cost me anything. Now whoever called me can’t use those two card numbers. But they still have info on my prior addresses and much more.

Temu is thought by the U.S. Government to sell this information to scammers, and of course it is kept by the Chinese security bureau. Again, it looks too good to be true, but just say no. And be VERY cautious about buying anything from China that you see on Facebook. A few years ago I bought was supposed to be a little battery-operated chainsaw I saw on Facebook. (They are still advertised there.) it was a gift for a friend. $40 plus about $20 shipping. What arrived was about a foot of chain from a chain saw chain and two little handles and a little bag for them. Technically a chain saw, but NOT what I saw online. I never got my money back. Another time, I spent about $270 on some fold up trellises with fake greenery on them. You’ve seen the ads on Facebook. What arrived was much sparser than the ads, and when opened, very sparse indeed. I wasn’t able to get any money back unless I returned everything—about twenty pounds—to China at my expense, and then they’d only give me part of it. I just tossed it all. It was too tacky to use.

Be careful.

I use the organic recipe found here. How to Make Weed Killer: 6 Natural and Effective Methods

SUPPLIES
Vinegar
Dish detergent
Table salt
1-gallon jug of water
Spray bottle

The recommendation is to spray when the sun is hitting the area. It works. It's true, the solution doesn't kill the root. The sun on the solution burns the weed and the weed can no longer absorb nutrients.

I still don't have an answer for those teeny-tiny weeds that pop up everywhere. They are too small and close to other plants for any chemical and certainly for the flame thrower. And my husband would never trust me with fire. He barely trusts me with a spray bottle.

For now, re: the little teeny-tiny pop up weeds, I have taken someone else's advice and consider the hour it takes me to pull them as meditation therapy. "Serenity now".

They DO have a built in wind guard. It's the wide area of the tube at the flame end. If the wind is blowing it out, you have the gas on too high. Less is more. I have used in 20mph winds with zero issues.

Regular propane torch doesn't work the same. Even if it did, your back would be hurting from leaning over after 5 minutes. $25 on Amazon is a bargain.

That's good to know. It probably explains why I need to do a torching every 3-4 weeks. No problem, it takes 15 minutes or less to do the entire job.

Yes most everything made in China even parts assembled in USA those parts probably came foreign country where labor 1.50 to 5 dollars hour or pennies for piece work most likely, and mostly from China. Thanks to our federal government allowing it 50 plus years ago. USA created that monster all for KBs and greed. All scrupulous countries know we are weak and gullible and easily manipulated to their advantage if there something in it for ones in charge. Plenty of US citizens lobbying for China.

Last I brought 20 pound propane it was $18.95 so by my calculations less than dollar. When buy the small tanks most of money in making the tank. Propane probably cost them less than dime for 1 pound?
