Default Update"

For all you nay-sayers....NO it's NOT covid! I found I have a bacterial infection that seems somewhat resistant to the antibiotics I'm taking. I tend to be "sensitive" to these as I have several on my list that I can't take. NO, I'm not taking the jab neither!! I'd asked a simple question and guess I should have left it to the medical personell.

Of course it's not COVID, despite several "responses". The best summation is post #5 by Blueash, who IS a physician. But I'd still be interested in knowing how it was determined to be bacterial and what is the pathogen, it would help.

Wow, just wow. I suppose that last sentence is true, as long as you don't count DEATH as a "problem" experienced by the unvaccinated.

Whenever I see statements such as that, I always wonder if we are dealing with the "Google School of Pseudomedicine and Conspiracy Theories" or the "East Las Vegas School of Medicine and Bartending", where happy hour apparently begins at 6 AM.

I've gotten the noro virus twice in my adult life. It's one of the more common stomach viruses. It lasts about 24 hours and involves pretty violent vomiting and diarrhea. It's absolutely miserable but it's gone in no time. It is also highly, highly contagious. About all you can do when you have it is try to sleep it off and stay hydrated.

I am not sure why a nurse would mention the plague. Unless something has recently changed that I am not aware of, I highly doubt it it's the plague.

OMG. I have had a significant stomach issues for first 48 hours. Low grade fever, stomach stabbing pains, and chills the first night. After four days it is slowly getting better, but not totally over it. I believe you are correct. Something is going around :-( as I am never sick or I have never had tummy issues.

Suggest Vizavee Urgent Care a god go to when personal doctors aren't readily available.

Have you tried chicken soup? I'm not a doctor, and I've never played one on TV. But I like chicken soup. Especially when I am not feeling well. 🤢

Get well soon!🌻🌻🌻🌻

In the past antibiotics have been given out like candy. The bacteria that survived are now more resistant to antibiotics. Plus with more world trade then more varieties of bacteria come into the US.
