Also, I'm surprised that the doctors and others among the posters here do not accept that medical knowledge is always changing and updated. What was purported as truth in the past has always been susceptible to change due to experience and further research. I know people will debate that on a political bias. But my husband and I haven't had the flu in 30 years since starting the flu shot, and we've managed to skirt Covid so far.


My brother and I received the first doses of polio vaccine in Pittsburgh. There was never a doubt that our parents would deny us that. Did they take a chance? Yes. Could further research have cast doubt upon the polio vaccine safety? Yes. Nothing is guaranteed in life, but we're still here, and yet polio is starting to appear again, why...

Thank you for the reply, I meant in the studies where they compare unvaccinated, fully vaccinated and boosted. I wonder if the unvaccinated counts include those with one shot.

I would be one of those high risk individuals. Chemo, lobe of my right lung removed, mesentery. My wife and one of my children had it. My secretary and office cleaning lady had it. I did not. All of them were vaccinated, boosted etc.. Some with the boosters have had it two times. Not sure what if anything this means. Same with your being boosted and not sure what, if anything it means.
(Note: When my wife tested positive I went to the hospital as planned and was told that as of the night before they were not permitted to give that treatment.)
IMO there is no definitive conclusion concerning how effective it is. Do what you feel is right for you, try not to judge others, pray and enjoy the time we have.

Walensky told a Senate committee Wednesday that data now shows fully vaccinated individuals can't pass Covid-19 to other people. (Wed May 19, 2021 before Congress)
On March 29, Walensky told MSNBC that "Our data from the CDC today suggests that vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don't get sick."
Walensky and the CDC made many statements that then had to be walked back.
