I like that post...
Very much. you want to be open you want to not judge somebody unfairly. Then you find out what looks very solid as evidence, and something in you wants justice to be done.

Good post Steve. My educated guess is that he appeared with his "business" lawyer. No competent criminal defense lawyer would do such a thing.

Sexual harrassment is a crime. A doctor sending a video of himself mastubating to a patient is NEWS.

Perhaps the quid pro quo was that the doctor was allwed to escape legal and public consequences.

Sexual harrassment is illegal. A doctor sending a video of himself mastubating to a patient is NEWS.

Perhaps the quid pro quo was that the doctor was allowed to escape legal and public consequences by a smart lawyer who knows if a jury sees the evidence his client will be toast.

The doctor has done all the stuff a guilty person does who is getting excellent advice. Admit you did it, because the evidence is damning and will end your career if it is shown in court.
Get treatment for your sexual perversion...because most people think that you can get cured. You can't. Sexual perversion of this type is by and large not amenable to treatment.

My husband and I talked it over and we will continue to see him. I'll ask him about it the next time I'm there. He is a good Doctor and very knowledgeable!

I am a man and would be quite upset if a male or female doctor for that matter took a little too much pleasure with a proctology exam and then started sending me requests for dinner or whatever. And remember most sexual harassment is not about sexual attraction but about control.

Well said, intuitively sharp, and spot on. Tal.
Unwanted videos sent to you of your doctor masturbating, as the Department of Health documents charge is nothing short of emotional rape.

Sounds like he is a kind and compassionate doctor from those on this thread who have posted about his care to them.

Always the choice of a patient to continue to see or not see a physician.

As we all know, it is difficult to find a kind and compassionate doctor; it is not hard to find a doctor with a record of disciplinary actions, malpractice suits and settlements (most have had some claim against them if they have practiced for any length of time--sexual misconduct, drug use, illegal prescribing, abuse of staff, precedural violations at a hospital, cutting off the patient's wrong leg, etc. lol).

Everyone should check the background and public files of their own doctors and judge for themselves as to whether they will continue to see the man or woman as a physician. Only the patient can, in the end, decide.

Only one person, if I counted well, posted positive comments.

Speaking only for myself, a man who alleges to be a healer and sends a patient porn of himself....? I would wonder what he was thinking when he put a stethoscope on my chest.

Hence my comment to judge each man--doctor, lawyer, merchant or brother--for oneself.

It's been my experience that because someone appears to be kind and compassionate it isn't always so. It's been said "by their works you will know them"; this doctor has been shown to be a pervert. What more needs to be said.

My husband doesn't have a problem going back to him but I won't now after reading the articles. It looks like he won't be allowed to treat female patients anymore anyway. I would have a problem with dealing with him now. He disappeared for about 3 months last year and no one said really why. Now I know!

I have had SUCH bad luck with finding a good Dr since we came down. I started off with Dr Peed but he wrote me a wrong RX and I almost took it but Walgreen's caught it in time. Then I went to Dr Villa and she was so "mechanical" and in the quantity not quality mode I switched to Dean and now look where I am. I guess I'm off on another searching mission to find a GOOD Dr this time,
