I use them. They only stock generics, but will be adding others and are adding insurance companies soon.

I compare them AND Amazon pharmacy. I use the cheapest one.

Amazon recently lowered their prices to compete with cost plus. Amazon has free delivery and arrives in 1 to 2 days.

My medications are $120 at Walgreens/cvs, $22 at Amazon and $18 at cost plus (with shipping)

...but the problem for my friend, for instance, is that she is only 46.
The Inflation Reduction Act only applies to those on Medicare, which leaves more than 21 million people behind...which is why more cost effective alternatives are so important! The cost of insulin in the US is up to 10 times more than other countries, as well...Even with rebates, the cost of insulin is still four times higher than other countries.

He caused prices to go back up before causing them to go down...

The 60-day regulatory freeze did not cause the price of insulin to increase at community health centers, which was where Trump's proposed savings would take place, which hadn't even gone into effect......The Biden Administration’s regulatory freeze did not impact a new insulin discount that took effect Jan. 1. That discount, announced last year by President Trump and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, allowed seniors who sign up for an enhanced Medicare plan to receive a 30-day supply of insulin for $35. The discount requires seniors to join a Medicare drug plan (Part D) or Medicare Advantage Plan (with drug coverage) that participates in the insulin savings model, so only those individuals who are willing to pay for the enhanced coverage were eligible to receive the $35 price cap.

I'm personally not here to argue about Trump or Biden...that never gets us anywhere....

My point is that people have lower cost alternatives that some might not know about...not limited to just insulin...more and more are being added to CPD, as well! I just thought it was a good alternative to mention I hope you're enjoying your weekend!!!!

My point was that insulin prices we already capped at $35/month. Then, that exec order was rescinded, which caused them to go back up to their previous highs for a year, until they went back down to $35/month.

Neither plan would have/will actually "fix(ed)" the costs for everyone.

But the current "boasting" of "look what we did!" is just more of "the same as it ever was"...

The "look what we just did" is going to have to arrive in the form of alternative and more reasonable and competitive prices for human beings who need these drugs to live. The fact that this (price gouging) has been able to go on for so long is pretty atrocious.

I think Cost Plus Drugs is a great option to consider. I also heard that Walmart pharmacy has some type of insulin at a very low price.
