I went to Orthopedic Institute and my first choice was PT right there and they were excellent! Went 3 times a week for 2.5 months and did my homework twice a day (40 minute each time) faithfully. I hoped for the best outcome and have had no pain since. Had 1 cortisone shot at Lake Sumter urgent care to begin with and MRI showed large tear in large muscle. I golf an average of 4 time a week and no problem! Good Luck!

I have found that Dr. Cook at the Advanced Orthopedic Associates to be excellent.

My husband went to Dr. Cook at Advanced Orthopedics in the Sharon Morse building. Excellent experience, great results from the surgery and the PT staff. Highly recommend.

My husband had rotator cuff surgery in December. He expected to be out of golf for three months Thanks to DR Rust at Orlando Health www.orlandohealth.co

He was back on the course with no pain in February

Good Luck

Both Dr Cook and Mitchell are excellent shoulder docs.

Do be careful with cortisone...I was having shoulder issues, got a cortisone injection, and ruptured my bicep tendon 3 weeks later. Good news...my shoulder doesn't hurt (as bad) any more!!! As Cook said, I fixed myself....did my own tenotomy without surgery. The bicep supposedly was irritating the shoulder.

Dr. Cook is the best! Sharon Morse Medical Center 352-751-2862
I had rotator cuff surgery in November 2019.
The physical therapy staff is top of the line too!
Best choice I've ever made!
Prayers for a successful surgery!
