Do you still have the crown or did you really lose it? I have a few crowns and my dentist told me if one came out to use some denture cream to hold it in place until I could get in to see him. I thought super glue would be better but he said not to do that!

My dentist is in Illinois so I can't help you find one in TV.....sorry.

Go to Dr. Castro in Baylee Plaza. He's terrific and he'll make the crown for you right in front of you. I had a crown replaced and then entire visit was 1 hr and I walked out with a new crown. And it was only $750.00. He's wonderful.

Wow, in one hour.
What type of material was used?
Is it metal covered in porcelain?

I hope that this experience will not end with that crown biting you in the butt.

Happy New Year.

I will now go research above and see who fixed my crown this time last year in TV.
I loved the dentist and the oral surgeon.

Just added....The dentist was Dr. Donald Burbank near the golf cart bridge on 441/27 and the oral surgeon was Dr. Alex Ghazal who did the root canal with NO pain and quickly and was quite young and handsome....if ya gotta have it done, don'tchaknow.............

It's all porcelain. He has a machine that designed the crown on the computer and then he does his adjustments, then you go into another room and watch the machine make the crown. It picks up the porcelain cube and lasers actually make the crown. The entire crown making took 4 mins. I was enthralled. And I didn't think $750 was bad. Cheaper than Mulberry Dental and that takes 3 visits.

A close friend of mine many years ago used super glue, and your dentist was right, as my friend got a severe infection in his mouth.

Perhaps, but why do you suspect they can command higher fees? They have no shortage of patients.
