I will not take cortisone shots, ever. I did get an appointment with Dr. Cook for mid May and I'll see where it goes from there.

Dr.Frank J. Cannon in Ocala. Excellent and so is his PA. 352.351.3432 (Ocala Orthopedic Group)

Ends up both shoulders have identical damage, torn rotator cuffs and torn biceps along with bone spurs and arthritis. Surgery is the only option, one will be done on July 11, and the second right after the first of the year so that I can drive back to Ohio for the holidays. Thanks for the referrals, I'm hoping Dr. Cook is an excellent surgeon.

Hoping for good results and a speedy recovery. I know it seems a lot to face, but glad it is something that can be fixed. I hope you feel so much better.

I believe you are in good hands. Best of luck, and do whatever rehab is ordered. I highly recommend Dr. Tezia Gonzalez for your shoulder rehab. She is located next to Dr. Cooks office.

At this point he said I would have 2 months PT in home and then 3 months outpatient PT, hopefully I can have that nearer to Fenney as it's a long drive up there from here 30 to 35 minutes depending on traffic, have to park at Publix and walk over. Brownwood or Leesburg would be much more convenient for me assuming they have good therapists.

In-home PT was via J&J and Outpatient OT is Physio Med. Both outstanding therapists, one on one, no assistants or trainees involved in my therapy. At this point I am well advanced in range of motion
