Oh, sorry about that. Yeah, you're right; regular doctors don't get very much training in nutrition and therefore don't consider it their job to teach nutrition to their patients. And even if they do know something about nutrition, they usually don't have the time to spend talking about it.

However, it's easy enough for the average person to become informed through reading. For example, if a person has heart disease there are a number of good books on how to reverse coronary artery disease. I've read some of them just to be informed for the purpose of prevention.

My husband just got Tommie Copper knee bands and he thinks that he is getting support especially going up and down stairs. He has tried many supplements and bands and this is the first time I have heard him say that something is helping. Overall his knees have been getting better since he has been on Adrenal Support, but this is the first time a band support seems to have helped so quickly and noticeably.

Good to hear.....thankyou. It's the "going down the stairs" or "down" a decline or downhill......so again, good to know.

One, of many, really good things about TV is that everything is FLAT .

Also got an update on the Merck story and I thought it was worth sharing.

I don't see where the ADA is even a gov't agency.

You're right. It is a professional state association. I was just blown away by the thought that any state sanctioned group could stop people sharing information. I guess it shouldn't surprise me, it just seems so ridiculous and regressive. People can get info from so many sources and should be able to judge for themselves what works for them, without having to get the info from only one specific source.

Your statement that the "government" is censoring the communication of information is not accurate. 1. The ADA is not a government agency 2. No one is allowed to share any and all information regarding health claims that are not proven as true. Thank heaven or we would have a lot more quacks injuring the health of gullible Americans!

As far as vaccinating or not: My daughter had a reaction to the pertussis part of the DPT vaccination when she had her first shot, age nine months? They said she should not take the follow up shot(s). She did get whooping cough when she was 12 or 13 when it was really scarce in our area. It was pretty significant. Afterwards, she developed asthma. Just passing on our experience.
