Spot on. Good information in a tight package.

thanks for the facts man just the facts. The rest of the chicken 🐔 littles can drive themselves insane with the minutiae of non verifiable covid spreading horror stories.
Now i can resume my search for the holy grail.

You would also need sealed eye goggles since you can contract it through the eyes.

And La Lamy is GOLDEN for CARING enough about her NEIGHBORS to pass USEFUL information on to them, which COULD save their lives! You go Golden Lady.......forget the naysayers - who MAYBE(?) right in the letter of medical science (who knows) BUT is again missing the forest (of CV death and callous DOWNPLAYING) for the details and smugly assuming the intellectual high ground.
It only makes people angry and sick at heart to be preached to. People's minds will not likely be changed and certainly not by someone talking down to them. I am sure most mean well and are not selfish. If we each were self responsible which I truly believe most villagers are, than we could hopefully keep ourselves and others safe. I notice again the rise in deaths in Sumter County in the past ten days is not as great as the rest of Florida and the world. I think we know why. Most of us are trying to do the right thing.

The vaccine is coming. I urge all to get both doses and to wait until our body responds and builds immunity and then we can go out into the world again.

On the other hand, I have neighbors and family that all visit without masks and NONE of us have become infected. Or, have we? Perhaps, we have all been infected and recovered with no evidence of infection and now have anti-bodies protecting us. We have been visiting and eating out for months, with no one/NO ONE showing symptoms. And in my 70's, I am still the youngest of the group, other than our children that have visited, and stayed for several days.
Foolish or just pragmatic about the situation? I understand the dangers, but I am not paralyzed with fear of living my life as normal as possible. Yes, I still wear a mask in places posted, wash my hands frequently and stay my distance. I can not speak for the rest of the clan.
I believe that FEAR is just as debilitating as most of the infection stories we have been hearing. Call me a fool if you wish, but it is not this person that is worried about silly stories about some child telling stories in an effort to attain some attention, or fearing the real truth that her boyfriend probably snuck in the window and brought the virus with him. Who knows, perhaps it is true that she visited with a friend for five minutes and that friend coughed and used the door handle when leaving and the girl closed the door behind her when she left and did not wash her hands. Who cares? If this story throws you into a panic, what does it say about folks that can't handle life's obstacles because of fear?
Once the vaccine is released, I have no intention of wearing that useless mask anymore. After all, if you are immunized from the virus, you won't be able to worry about whether or not I am infected.

If it were up to me ALL REC centers would have locks on their doors with a sign, "WILL NOT OPEN FOR HEALTH REASONS UNTIL AFTER THE CV PANDEMIC IS OVER" ! And while I am at it - all INDOOR churches would be closed. All non-essential business would be closed. All Squares would be closed and deserted.

And before anyone blames me for thinking this way, remember that I did NOT ignore the CV Plague and allow it to metastasize into a raging inferno in the US (preventing contact tracing) And does anyone else notice the INCREASED helicopter flights away from TV Land hospitals......maybe just a coincidence? And notice that Sweden's ICUs are 99% filled today?

If SK was so great, they wouldn't need us to protect them, would they?

I keep hearing on here about tiny little countries handling the virus so well, compared to the U.S. In my opinion, we have handled it very well. If not for Warp Speed the whole world would be waiting years for a vaccine. And please remember that we have states larger than some of the countries that everyone seems to applaud.

Wonder why the helicopters are moving patients to other hospitals? Recently I hear many more flights.

Agreed. But since the rate of infection is still outrageous, I thought people needed to be reminded.

Not meant to create more fear, just more precaution for those who need to.
