Thumbs down No...

NOTHING is open 24 hours in TV! I agree! It would be great if the Urgent Care facilities were open 24 hours. It just makes sense.

Hospital emergency room is open 24X7. So what are the hours? 8 to 5, 8 to 8, 6 AM to midnight? The place is useless to any of us unless we know by going there we can get in. Urgent care means you need it now. And if it's 6:25 AM and I don't know, I will go directly to the hospital.

Smile Thanks

Thanks for this feedback as if we need a good Urgent Care facility it is good to know where to go. We tried one (not this one) and it was terrible. We would never go back.
We heard about the LSL urgent care from our neighbor who really liked the care and we will go there if we ever need that kind of service again.
Again, thanks..

Another positive vote for the urgent care center at LSL. Had recent occasion to use it - good care, modern technology, professional staff.

I also had a positive experience. HOWEVER, I did note that they seem to have a practice of not accepting patients (they lock the door) 30 minutes before the time they post as the closing time. It did not affect me but did affect 3 patients who arrived after me.

Default Lake Regional Urgent Care at Sumter Landing

My wife and I have both tried 3-4 internal med/family practices around The Villages. We have not found anyone as knowing and caring as the urgent care. Dr. Domenick and Dr. Proud(husband and wife) and the other M.D.'s there are efficient and know what they are doing. My wife was diagnosed with a weird autoimmune disease, and the people at Shands said we were really lucky our M.D.(Dr. Domenick) had sent us up there quickly. With uneven results at the other practices we tried, we now use Lake Urgent Care exclusively as our primary care Physicians!! As a retired DDS, I have utmost confidence in LRUC!!

Red face Urgent Care LSL

My wife had an unfortunate experience at an Urgent Care facility and based on the comments in TOTV she decided to go to the Urgent Care at Lake Sumter. We cannot say enough good things about them. Their care, their caring and all the other stuff that goes with medical treatment could not have been better. From the moment you walk in the building you are treated kindly and the Dr's could not be better. To say we strongly recommend them would be an understatement..

Glad things turned out so well Steve. I had a similar experience with the LRUC in LSL last Summer after I messed up my rotator cuff. I wonder what our experience would have been if HR 3200 Healthcare Reform Act had been enacted into law.

---Let's see, you are a senior so here's your pain pill and here are the addresses for your local recycling centers who will handle your case under the very successful Cash for Clunkers Program.

Just kidding... please don't send this to the fishy email coordinator in DC
