Oh I'm sorry. I meant 3 years and 6 months ago when they opened in early October 2009 They took over the spot that 'Up The Creek' used to be.

Default Fly, fly, everywhere a fly

Was at Publix today and bought sandwich meat. While my meat was being weighed on the scale, the server turned to slice more meat and a fly landed on my meat. I asked them to get me different meat as there was a fly on it. They weren't pleased but I'm not eating what flies have been on. Also, there are flies INSIDE the bakery case. They were on top of all of the baked goods. Yuck!

Hey waiter what's this fly doing in my soup?

Waiter: the backstroke?

I know that was bad. I like Cody's, the entertainment, bartenders, waitstaff and patrons. Haven't been there in two weeks, so maybe the fly population has exploded. But I have been bothered by flies at AP too and most other places. Brownwood was swarming with love bugs yesterday. Yuck! Having dinner at home today. Maybe stop by Cody's later for a beer!

Hi Bonny: What came to my mind concerning your "what we call nature"reference was oil is also what we call nature but have an oil spill in the wrong spot and watch the environmentalist go nuts. Oil in the wrong spot or birds flys and other critters in the wrong spot and watch rubicon go nuts.

We are moving down the first of July. How long does the fly/love bug season last?

They will be gone by then, but will be back in October. Twice a year, what a treat.
