Toxic bell and burger queen might as well fold now. I never been to a bad toxic bell as the one in southern trace. Burger King for me mostly miss, occasionally during the 15 rush hour around noon you can get fries warm and not microwaved vulgar. No I didn't misspell it!

Tried Culver’s today. Still very crowded, but they had 4 or 5 people taking orders so the wait time to order was minimal. I would guess it was another 5 or 10 minutes to get our food. Today was a very pleasant day to sit in the outside dining area.

I had a bacon double butter burger, fries and a chocolate shake. My wife had a single butter cheeseburger, and 2 scoops of chocolate custard. All was very good. There are quite of few menu items I would like to try, so we will be back.

One thing I would like to see. The shakes are very thick. They need a larger diameter straw. We have them at home. I think I will just bring my own straw next time.

No more straws! They are all ending up in the Oceans. Seattle has banned them.

Bring a spoon! We all gotta do our parts...

We see that Culvers has adopted the SteaknShake method, of beating 4 oz. Of meat paper-thin. Parking lot was crazy, line long right now, burger good, fries good, cost more than S & S, eat off paper, cups paper. Hope all my Cheese head friends aren't mad but that's a NC opinion.

I wasn't going to say anything -- you know "if you don't have something nice to say ... etc". But since you made the comparison, after lunch today at Culver's, DH asked me if I found anything that differentiates Culvers from Steak n Shake and I had no answer.

Went there today, at 3:00 p.m. I think they made enough today to pay first years rent. Never seen such a crowd. All ages. Drive-thru lane was backed up to the street. I'll go again when the blush is off the rose, because they have the best frozen custard ever.

Have never set foot in a S&S , don't think we'll be going to a Culver's either--if I was in my teens and 20's and had the metabolism I used to have --would give it a shot--but its not for a health conscience 75 year old

I predict S&S will lose 1/3 of they're business, Mickey Ds half, BK and toxic bell might as well close now IMO.

Seattle has banned plastic straws and plastic utensils effective July 1st of this year .However biodegradable straws [ paper ] and biodegradable utensils [ wooden ] are allowed .

Locals are also being encouraged to hollow out a stick and carry it with them in lieu of straws and to eat with their hands instead of using the biodegradable utensils .

The city council is also considering passing an ordinance to
ban the brushing and flossing of teeth as it uses too much water and the used flossing material is an unnecessary addition to the city's solid waste management efforts .

Meanwhile , not to be undone , the California State Legislature encouraged by Gov. Brown is expected to enact a statewide ban on the use of paper products , utensils and cups in all fast food restaurants across the Golden State . Patrons will be encouraged to fold one hand to receive a legal drink portion * in one hand while receiving their food in another .

* Under the new law any drink from a fast food establishment may not exceed 4 ounces as this has been determined by state engineers to fit into the cupped hand of the average adult citizen . Children may use both hands to receive a drink up to the age of 12 .
