There are a few restaurants that welcome pets outside. Please don't suggest hurting innocent dogs, when they're on patios where they are permitted.

I love dogs where they belong but I am not a dog fanatic. Hurting innocent dogs is a ridiculous statement...People should leave and the dog stays where it should not be, sure...
I never go to Codys for this reason which is the only place dogs are legally allowed on the outside patio..we've all been through all this many times and still people want to take dogs where the law says they are not allowed. If permits are obtained by other restaurants so be it..owners just cannot grasp, cannot understand, or refuse to accept that according to the law unless there is a permit dogs are not supposed to be there. No permit, No dogs, problem solved.

May I respectfully suggest that dog owners stop taking dogs to restaurant patios that do not have the required permit?

Dogs are welcomed at a handful of restaurants in The Villages. Most dog owners know which patios are dog friendly. And that's all I have to say on this topic. Adios and sleep well.

Anywhere in the The Villages is illegal except Codys according to Florida law. Dog friendly is not an option unless it is dog legal first which apparently many dog owners choose to ignore and think it is OK.

I am done on this, I don't even use an I Phone and probably should have never allowed myself to be drawn into this same old worn out subject again in the first place.

It really went off a cliff this time, but then I did predict it would in post # 2 ..

People who are terrified of dogs should stay away from places where they might encounter dogs, such as Cody's (where dogs are legally permitted at outside tables), the streets around the Village squares, the mailbox areas and, in fact, all Village streets. They should not visit a friend who might have a dog and if they enter a home where there is a dog, they should loudly demand that the dog be locked up. They should not travel to countries where they might see dogs. They MAY visit zoos where there are all kinds of potentially aggressive animals but not dogs.
