I don't think the person was expecting the customer to be his "pal", but rather that the customer not be so crude and disgusting and even unsafe as to leave "diabetic supplies" (hypodermic needle?) on the table, and not leave a pee puddle in the chair for the server to clean up. And not leave kleenex full of snot on the table for them to clean up! GROSS!!!!!!
