Best place in my book is TooJays in LsL clean all the time,, wait staff always to seem to enjoy there job,, manger comes around an makes sure everything is ok!
Some places dont do that because they are afraid of what they might hear!
I usually eat in the Restaurant part and think the Breakfasts are just fine.

Can't believe no one goes to Pete's Diner in Fruitland Park. You may have to wait in line to get in because that's where the local's in the know go!

If the restrooms are bad the kitchen area is worse. Clean is all about management, but I am glad you like the breakfast there.

Someone on an earlier TOTV post mentioned great biscuits on 441, Elaine's or something like that. Anyone recall the specifics? If so, may we also assume that they do breakfast?

Thanks Bill. It was Aunt Fannie's not Elaines, and I think they have several in the Ocala area. Do you know if they also do breakfast with the famous biscuits?

This purports to be the menu for their restaurant in Ocala (the only one in Ocala?). Couldn't find a web site for the business itself:

Aunt Fannies menu - Ocala, FL 34471 - (352) 732-4497

I'd give them a call ahead to see if they really do offer what you're looking for.....just to save the drive if they don't!

Bonifay recently started a daily breakfast buffet for $5.99 plus coffee. Just about all of the breakfast buffets in TV include grits.

I know the best breakfast (and lunch) restaurant near The Villages. It hasn't been mentioned (cause it looks like a dive and you probably drove right past without a second glance) and I'm not going to tell you it's name. It's already too crowded!

However, it's on 441/27 on your way to Leesburg and it's a gem. You seat yourself, get your own coffee and if the pot's empty you'd better make another one. The food is home cooked (you can watch plus the owner actually makes the soup at her home and brings it in...YUM-O), no menu because it's posted only on the wall, and it offers grits and the most delicious hash plus the price is ...well, I won't tell cause I don't want you all to know about it!

You can't judge this book by it's cover!

Get there early is right!
We tried stopping there a few weeks ago. There didn't look like there were that many cars there, but when we got inside we turned right around and left and the couple behind us did the same with others still pulling in while we were leaving. No place to sit except counter stools and I can't do stools.

We wound up a little further down the road at Denny's and throughly enjoyed our breakfast there!
