Smile RJ Gators

Love the wings and burgers at RJ Gators. I get the burger mid. rare where u don't need any sauce for the fries.

They can't put it back on the grill after he took a bite which I assume he did in order to see it was not properly cooked.

If Edna's suits you better, eat there.

Let's hope all those people don't order that same undercooked burger😅

That wasn't a bash, it was just a concern, or warning. Sometimes these restaurants can be dark and you can't even see the meat color. Anyway, I don't eat burgers that much, but when I do, I certainly want it cooked to the point that I won't get sick from it..........right?

When an Owner is not concerned about undercooked food being served than who is?

Best to stay away from there and get a great cheeseburger from the food truck at Edna’s!
Are you sure it was the owner; could it possibly been the manager, just asking is all ? Of course this should not happen, can be dangerous and is the reason most restaurants will not prepare hamburger this way.... if you love rare burgers you have to grill your own at home. When we first experienced J. Rockets many years ago I remember it was a real treat. Not found in many locations and such good food and fun; a novel idea. We told all our friends 'if you ever get to ---- you HAVE to go to J.R.'s for such good ''malt shop' food and great fun. As the years went on I assume it was "franchised", and we have always found once that happens the consistency becomes sporadic. One manager may take the responsibilities of the job and quality of the food very seriously, while at another location the manager may "have no horse in the race", is barely paid more than the servers. I've found the same conditions at various Panera locations, some still have the original quality, service, and concern, for others it it simply a paycheck, and a very small one at that. I'd be interested if any on here have actually found an establishment improved once franchising goes "viral" (as the kids say, lol !). Another memory, the first Cracker Barrel was AWESOME. Found it on the drive to family in Florida. Must have been around 1970 while driving through Tennessee. The food, service, welcoming roaring fire, everything about this place was amazing... ah, time marches on. We gave up on all Johnny Rockets quite a few years ago now, Steak and Shake (thin burgers) is fading rapidly, not a big McDonald's fan but they have managed to at least keep the consistency from one location to another all these years ! That's amazing too, even if you don't care for their food. Oh, yes, Waffle House also has managed (for the most part) to keep the same food quality and the same (mostly) friendly smiles and service no matter which state you find yourself in...

I love Johnny Rockets fish and chips. I’m disappointed that they don’t offer the unlimited fries anymore; I guess that’s because of new ownership. I also like that I can sit outside with my dog.

I prefer to go Gator's Dockside for their wings. Weekdays unadvertised lunch special, six wings and fries $7.99 or 10 wings, fries, Blue Cheese plus drink for $10.99, add celery for 75 cents. Once I find a great steak sub, I don't go anywhere else. I've learned all the best places for everything I would want.

The Villages Florida
That's great, I know this is about burgers but....LOL... tell me is there any place that has GREAT thin crust pizza with good tasting quality toppings.... I'm still looking, looking.... a person mentioned to us "go to the villages bowling alley ?"

When placeing your order you must have told the waiter/waitress that you wanted it WELL done. The degree of doneness is subjective. I like my burger very pink and juicy.

I agree with you. The LAST and FINAL time we were there, the service sucked big time and they just didn't care. There are too many other places that will take your hard earned cash!!

Sorry, but the MANAGER IS acting on the OWNER'S behalf and if they let a complaint like this "slide", it's a reflection on the Owner as well. I would go somewhere else!!

Edna's not worth the wait in our opinion although the Appalachian salad is delicious. Stood in line for close to an hour last night, then out of hoagie buns, beans, tenders and more....so backed up with beeper orders that they totally ignored everyone in line for nearly an hour.....eat early at home, then go for the music !!!
