I love Katie Bells! A dining experience is more than just the food, sometimes it is the atmosphere! If the food is around the same quality as what I cook, I can stand it. ( I'm not that great of a cook sometimes, even though I love cooking) so good fries and ok food, great atmosphere and music..... I will keep going back!

Default Love Sunday Brunch at Katie Belles.

The best thing is the wonderful service and the bread pudding. And THE PRICE!!!

Not a Katie Belles goer much but the few times I went in the evening, I saw beautiful dancing duo's and don't remember eating any ummm "crap" .

I don't recall it being an ultimate dining experience either.

If everyone liked the same thing..........they would only sell Rum Raisin ice cream...(MY fave)

Some people put more emphasis on dining experiences than others and if you are a wannabe, please come down and see if you like the grub before you move here.

We like Katie Belles as a nightclub. A terrific place to go dance, listen to music, watch the people, order some drinks and perhaps munchies. As far as a place to consider for dinner - not a chance. Everyone has different tastes and standards, and being on the square, it will get patronage just because "its there". We have found many better restaurants off campus like Carrabas, Bonefish, etc. Food and atmosphere at Katie Belles, in our opinion, doesn't come close to those eating establishments.

Have not been there for a while but the times we were there the food was OK and the entertainment was par for the Villages. The same acts seem to circulate at Katie Belles and then on the Squares.

Of course, there are much better places like Bonefish Grill to have a relatively quiet meal.

Cool

I guess I see Katie Belle's as the ONLY Villages nightclub. We don't usually eat there, but we have and I don't consider the food to be "crap". It's bar food...

We only go there to dance and have a good time. It's also a nice venue to see some of your favorite bands or just have a good night out with friends.

Go to KB's for the entertainment..not the food. There's a reason their steaks are $9.99..they wouldn't dare charge more for that cut of meat!

We've been there a few times. The food has always been mediocre at best. The Sunday breakfast buffet is OK. Not great, but passable. The entertainment runs from bearable to simply awful. The whole "singles scene" is absurd. And if I never see anyone line dancing again, it will be too soon. What is with that? They look like a bunch of robots.

Winston. Deep breaths.

I can't line dance either but you have to admit they are GOOD! I admit that I am jealous. I always go left when the rest are going right.

Why is the singles scene absurd? You aren't single and I'm not either. But a lot of people are. They probably think couples are absurd. A lot of hand holding and eye gazing going on here that you don't see other places.

I can't comment on the entertainment. But it always has been entertaining.

Come on fella. This isn't like you.

I know. It is literally freezing outside. You forgot your sweater.

Back on topic......I have eaten there once and my pot roast was so salty I couldn't eat it and I like salt. No, I didn't complain to the manager I just won't go back. However, the entertainment was good.

do folks really go to kb's for the food? I thought it was just for the dancing and the singles action. matter of fact - I have rarely seen better entertainment than the singles action that goes on there!

I went there once for a meal and it was vey good. I agree with the posters that KB's is more for entertaining than a place to eat a good meal. But then, I am very easy to please.

Gracie is the voice of reason once again.

Winston Boogie must not go to the town squares because you will see line dancing at all of them. Can he say that the Katie Belle's entertainers such as Mary Jo Vitale, Rocky & The Rollers, Norman Lee, and Cactus Jack & The Cadillacs are no good? All of them are excellent!

Sure the food is not something to go wild about. If you want real good food, go to Glenview CC or to Lopez Legacy CC.

We don't go to Kadie's for the food, we go for the entertainment and have never been disappointed. In fact, we have tickets for Tuesday night!

We totally agree, Katie Belles food is terrible, the accoustics are bad and they really don't have any accomodations for the handicap! What kind of representation is this for a wonderful, active retirement community? Wake up people, you are not doing the right thing.
