I have often wondered why some restaurants offer so many different kinds of beer. A serious beer drinker will drink almost any kind of beer you offer. Surely, they have enough space for 3 or 4 kinds of draft beer.

It is not a pun, but it is a witticism.

Maybe, just maybe--they realized that they can't make any $$, with low volume draft beer drinkers hogging the bar during happy hour--IMHO its akin to the patrons who descend upon McDonalds and sit there getting free senior refills

Maybe it's too much work to clean the tubes properly.

Someone comes around and cleans the lines, not the restaurant.

Default 3 strike they’re out

I enjoyed the Light House many a times but in the last couple years it seems to of gone downhill quite a bit, portions are smaller and now they do away with draft beer.
they seem to lead you to believe that they are a north east fish restaurant they can’t compare in anyway and they would never last on If you want food seafood go to Lena’s seafood!

That's great to know. I didn't want to give up draft beer.

I saw some safety videos about cleaning the tubes in ice machines and soda dispensers. I don't need either.

I saw it and was going to comment, but..."It was impossible to get a conversation going, everybody was talking too much."

That was too obvious. But you get an A+ for playing the game. You are smarter than the average Berra.

It was too obvious? I'll work on that.

The profit is much higher on draft but that was not the way they chose to go. Without proper space, maybe they have to drop some items from the menu. But many want to jump ship over no draft...that shows no loyalty. Kegs take up a lot of room and a seperare cooler sounds like a easy solution but they probably don’t have any more space. I’m sure they thought this over....I’ll still go...vodka n sprite with a lime, please....thanks
I was told it was a financial issue. The handles were removed by the distributor and has nothing to do with space.
