Again, the voice of reason. Buggy your smart enough to be from Iowa.

I've heard that they did a study, and posting is good for healing, Bonny. Get well soon!

Just got home from Mezza Luna. The management has changed, but it's still in the family
Food hasn't changed a bit , nor the menu.
A good Italian restaurant !

Good to hear nothing will change, Mezza Luna is one of the few restaurants I actually enjoy.

Food was ok but the service was terrible! The waitron took forever to bring us our water. The salad took another lifetime. Then the pizza came much later and I really believe it had been sitting out for a while because it was cooled down considerably. And then we waited yet again for plates! Not real thrilled.

Typical complaints from many patrons. And the management didn't care. We've seen customers just getting up and leaving because they waited too long.

Staff turnover is high too.

They never had a Grand Opening.

I saw that also, Skip. Been there a few times, I like the food and I get good service because I know a lot of the wait staff, but I've seen many others very dissatisfied. Whole families have gotten up to leave. Its too bad, what do we have to do to get some professional servers???

I think what we need to do to get professional servers is to start with professional management that trains employees well, then treats them with respect and pays them well.

I kinda think that should come before management treating customers well. If the waitstaff is trained to be efficient & courteous, management will deal with few customer complaints. JMO

We only went there once (high season), and the service was very good. But we went for an early dinner (4:30) and were out before the lines were out the door.

It would be so much easier on everyone if TV restaurants would take reservations.

We have been there only once (first week of April) and our server was very helpful and attentive. It was a Saturday at 5 pm and the place was already almost packed.

He said he had only been working there for one week.

Have eaten there a dozen times. Never had a problem with the servers.
