You're correct about Clayton, Ga--check out Fortify--if you want pizza or fine dining this place has it--this is what real pizza should be

I think Chatbrat enjoys stirring things up and he gets Gracie to take his bait every time!

Only one, there 3 of us and we ate @ the bar=I had the elk, wife had veal scallopine, wife's niece had the veal chop--after tip total bill came to ,hang on boys & girls --$545.08--most of the bill was wine, cocktails and after diner drinks--if they would have had Louis Xlll-brandy instead of Hennessy XO--who knows what the # would have been--BUT, there is no comparison between the quality and chef's skills of Paolettti,to Arnold Palmer

I am positive I would love eating there. You are making me hungry for the stuffed veal chop at Angelo's in NYC!

There are some "high-end restaurants" in Tampa and Orlando for those that want an occasional 100.00 plus dinner and a 300.00 hotel for the night. To each his own. "You got to dance while the music is still playing". Anonymous

Personally I can not figure out why many of the Village posters take offense at any suggestion there might be a broader selection of restaurants somewhere else with some meal selections not available in our local feeding establishments. It strikes me no one is disparaging the community, other residents, the founding family, the Village's ambiance or the State of Florida when suggesting some aspect of life might be better elsewhere. And as to the " if you don't like it, take your money and leave " attitude expressed in this thread, how infantile need we be ? The fact of the matter is there are some institutions and facets of life which can be improved anywhere, and only by recognizing that will those improvements come to fruition.

I love hearing about your foodie posts, and I think it is great you enjoy a good meal and top shelf drinks. I like to live vicariously sometimes... I can't imagine in my wildest dreams being able to pay $550 for one meal. That is my groceries for almost three months. I am happy for you, Chatbrat, that you can share your experiences with me. Maybe one day we will meet in person. I drink Killian's...Rae

Love Frogs Leap. Rose Plantation is having a family style Italian dinner next Thursday. I just made a reservation.

In the past, out of 16 Five Star Restaurants in the United States, Cincinnati had three of them and we were fortunate to have dined at all three on several occasions.

The most special to us was the Maisonette.
