Default Why not Harry's Seafood in TV?

Yesterday we went to Harry's in Ocala and thoroughly enjoyed the service, ambience and food. We've been there about a year ago and level hasn't changed. Check my Trip Advisor review. Also few years ago we went to it's sister restaurant in St. Augustine and enjoyed the place. Am sure it'll give a good competition to Bonefish which we also like. I've put this restaurant on to Developer's yearly questionnaire but hasn't materialized yet.

Why have Harry's come to The Villages? It only takes about 40 minutes to drive to Ocala and being a little distant makes it a bit more special, too.

The developer can't MAKE them rent. AND start up for a new restaurant to buy all equipment, interior furniture and dcor... and staff it is a major financial undertaking that the chain may not be able to afford right now.

It is easier for a chain to open a new place than an individual. Costs bigum bucks either way.

I am sure that the commercial part of The Villages would love to rent to them. That is what they do.

Guess Gracie knows about these things. Too bad as we don't want too many same old, same old chains because we want variety. Guess the developer and the restaurant can't come to terms on the rental fee. Will pray to The Village gods for good compromise. It's not that great to drive 40 min. just to eat there.

Is that the response from Harry's?
