Default And the winner is........?

Let's say you are being taken out to dinner tonight somewhere in or near The Villages. You pick the restaurant.

Which one do you pick

Oh my! TH, how lovely of you. I guess I have written a lot of posts here. But, oh my! I was not expecting all this.

What time will you be picking me up? Will you be arriving by dogsled here in Cincinnati?

I think I want to go to the Tea Plantation.

Or Lopez if the steaks are as good as they were when I was there a long time ago. And I will leave the choice of the wine to you. Something nice and red will be just fine.

Mush on, TH. Mush on. I am so excited to be getting out of the house. So much cold and ice and snow here. I am becoming quite mad. I will be watching for you out the window, TH. Just have the lead-dog bark as you approach the house. Mush on!

Boomer stole my thunder as I thought for a fleeting second you were asking some of us to dinner.

Anyway on property I would go with Legacy at Nancy Lopez. Off property Bern's Steakhouse in Tampa.

I pick Lopez if cost is no problem. If cost is an issue - then I would pick Katy Bells only because it is downtown - and reasonable prices.

Boomer - where in Cincy you from. I have been looking at the traffic cameras on WCPO tv - wowsa glad we are here.

Default Pick Me

Dear TH, oh nicest of the nice, pick me. Your business partner would feel a lot better about you if you did because (1) I'm not an English Major; and (2) he doesn't have a crush on me.

Dearest Mr. P., I'm just kidding. Not about Tony, about trying to get a date with TH.

Dearest Boomer: um, umm

Without a doubt, Bonefish Grill.

Default Bonefish Grill!!

Another vote here for Bonefish Grill . They have everything one would look for when going out for a nice dinner. The atmosphere is so nice and so relaxing, the service was top notch and the dinner was out of this world! I cant remember the exact name of it...it is one of their most favorites with the customers, is a shrimp appetizer (has a nice sauce w/great spice blend). "Try it Mikey....you'll like it"!!
Okie, now I've lost my mind lol, I better go get more tea lol.

Default Special Restaurant

While I agree with those of you who chose Bonefish, I also think think that many of my guests probably have dined at one of those already. It is a national chain, and while very good, not 'special'. I used to take guests in Baltimore to Tio Pepe's, a really unique Spanish Restaurant located in a basement. I really have not found that special restaurant here, but my choices would be Red Sauce, Lopez and possibly The Cotiillion and Traditions in Wildwood. I am yet to dine at Harbor Hills, but that also sounds intriguing. Katy Belle's is unique, but way, way too loud for me.

Lopez would be my choice. I have never been disappointed with their menu choices.

We like to take our visitors to Gator Joe's for lunch, so we can sit outside on the dock and enjoy the atmosphere. The food is pretty good, and the prices are reasonable. Inside the bubble...we like Cane Garden.

JeanneBeanne--- the shrimo appetizer, at Bonefish, is called Bang, Bang Shrimp. We love it, too.
