Many folks would think that common sense would prevail, but now that I read your comment, I can see a problem with that theory. Some folks get hysterical at the sound of "gun." Many of the uninformed or naive still think that when someone mentions a gun, they automatically picture a machine gun or cannon.

In case some do not know it, about 36 states will honor a resident FL CCW permit.

Yes that would be great, anyone with a body temperature around 98 carrying a concealed firearm. I fail to see where that makes society safer. Tell that to the family's of those armed police officers that were shot dead just sitting in their cars. We have too many Charles Bronson want to bes thinking more guns is what we need. IMO

Tell them what? That minorities are dangerous? MOST cops killed are killed by MINORITIES and BLACKS are the biggest offenders.

These are numbers of police killed...and what race killed them. Hispanics as usual, are mixed in with white, there is no Hispanic breakdown. Almost half the police killed are killed by blacks, Hispanics are a close second. True whites, a distant 3rd.

That's right, you "fail to see." Do you understand that having a nationwide CCW does not cause more to carry, but just to make it easier to understand the gun laws in this country from state to state? There would not be more people carrying, just more people carrying legally across state lines. Most states honor the CCW from other states, IF they have CCW in their own states. This would just clarify the gun laws and standardize gun carry laws and requirements nationally. I have been carrying concealed for many years and NO ONE knows it that I pass every day. There is no reason for people like you to panic at the thought. If anything, you should feel safer when you are out and about, knowing that someone might be there to protect you from crazies.

Does this political, biased comment apply to the thousands of blacks in the inner cities that are hunting and killing each other every day? At the head of the pile Illinois/Chicago.....with some of the strictest gun regulations in the country?

The simplest most impactful regulation that would make an immediate impact is the outlawing of blacks being allowed to own or be anywhere near a gun.

Fact: Chicago
Fact: murder capital of the world
Fact: most murders there are commited by blacks......with guns.......mostly killing other blacks.

While being facetious the undercurrent of the post was based on reality.

Tongue in cheek....if blacks with guns = the largest sources of violence and number of murders....it would logically follow that to take action against the highest probable cause would have the most immediate impact.....it is just so happens to be the perpetrators ARE BLACK .....tongue in cheek logic that happens to ring true.
