Default Obama's War on the American Dream

Tea Party Talking Points:

http://www.heritage.org/Press/FactSheet/fs0035.cfm

I wish every American would read all this information. Are the people who attend these Tea Parties just the 10-20% of the population that really get involved. One of our own had a a post about the 80-20 ratio of people who actually do something. The 20% do the work and the 80% get a free ride?

Please observe the chart. Notice the debt for the next 10 years.

Default How do you think we got here DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

Spending, Spending, Spending: President Obama spent nearly $800 billion on the stimulus bill and then proposed a budget that would increase spending by another $1 trillion over the next 10 years. Spending in 2009 has increased 25%, which is the largest non-war government expansion since the New Deal.

The budget has all costs in it unlike the BUSH administration that forgot to put in little thinks like $600 Billion for the Iraq War.. Oh and part of the 1 Trillion was additional funds to try to save the economy that OPEN MARKETS and Greedy CEO's created... HOW SOON YOU FORGET... BUSH never vetoed a a spending bill in his life... NO budget deficit 2000 to 5 Trillion in 2008 gee how did that happen

Creating or Saving Jobs? The President set a benchmark of a 138.6 million jobs in the U.S. economy by the end of 2010. He is currently 6.4 million jobs short. Yet with rising unemployment, the White House continues to take credit for jobs "saved" without any empirical evidence to suggest this is true. The stimulus bill did create jobs in one sector--the government--by nearly doubling the size of several federal agencies and creating a huge bureaucracy.

It has only been 168 days and 140 major projects have been funded and are about to startup. It takes time... we Americans are an instant gratification society.. take a Xannex and relax a little

A Second Stimulus? The President stated that the stimulus would start helping the economy within months if not weeks of passage, but his advisor's are now saying the real effect won't take place until later this year, maybe. Meanwhile, the White House is now openly considering a second stimulus spending bill. The first stimulus already dumped $9,400 of debt into every American's lap. Why double down? NOT TRUE he said it would take into 2010 for the full impact to be felt

What about the F22 and C17 spending by both parties for aircraft the pentagon does not want or need..... that is government at its best

The trick is - If you read these headlines about Obama's policies they'd sound more like something you'd expect from a regime in Iran - not here in the U.S.A.

Think about it, Homeland Security Reports labeling certain mainstream conservatives such as military veterans and pro-life advocates as "right wing terrorists"... the government taking over automakers, firing chief executives and closing down thousands of dealerships under government decree... massive deficit spending designed to squash the private sector and make people beholden to the government for their income and livelihood.

But sadly, these reports ARE about the United States and Obama's administration (with the backing of the Harry Reid/Nancy Pelosi Congress) are pushing ahead even further - with the "Cap & Trade" (the largest tax increase in history), a massive socialistic government health care proposal, and more.

Obama -- Not my idea of hope and change !

Not only do I agree with you, but it seems to me from what I have read his position with the Hondura's points out his feelings about democracy.

Honduras president tries to over run the constitution...the supreme court of the land because of what he does kicks him out AND SCHEDULED ELECTIONS, all of this within the constitution of Honduras....and our President supports the guy who tried to override the constitution.

Scary stuff

Give me a break...healthcare in the US is in sad shape. Something needs to be done. The Cap and Trade only reverses the damage that was done by the Bush administration.

And how many of you who complain are receiving Social Security and are covered by Medicare? Both are socialistic programs....

Coal fired power plants restrictions for scrubbers were lifted by the Bush administration. In addition power plant were allowed to rebuild plants under retro fit rules which again allowed them to skirt the regulations for cleaner plants.

Without checking your validity on your points, you are saying that the entire big spend cap and trade bill just passed by the house was due to these two items ???

WOW

PS: Have your read the recent cap and trade bill passed by Congress (Again unread by those who voted but maybe you have found time to read it).....do you actually know what it calls for ?

Look ....no one read the bills when the Repubs were in power...so just give up on that Fox Noise point. No I don't think the entire CAP and Trade is just because of those two things....

This is YOUR QUOTE...

"The Cap and Trade only reverses the damage that was done by the Bush administration."

I assume now that you admit it is a bit more than reversing the two items you mentioned....MUCH MUCH MORE !

You did not answer if you are aware of what is in this new bill...I would really like to hear your defense of it.....heck, even many or at least some Dems could not even vote for it.

Last point....guess you were there and I wasnt on who read what in the last 8 years...I just know that the largest spending bills OF ALL TIME are being passed with no reading.
