It is with great sadness that I must let the members of TOTV know about the passing of longtime poster Muncle. As many of you know, he has been battling lung cancer for well over a year. He lost his battle on Saturday, Nov 7 at 5:30am. His sister, who lives in the Villages, notified a former TOTV member with the news. He will be transported back to his native Kansas City for burial.

His humor, intellect, and heart will be missed. May he rest in Peace.

How sad. I will miss his humor and his intellectual posts (that I never understood) on TOTV.. I wrote to him last month, to ask him to please come to the luncheon but didn't get a response, now I know why. He did attend one lunch, last year, I believe, and it was a pleasure to meet him.

I am so sorry to hear this. It's almost like losing a family member. That's how close we feel to you members of Talk of The Villages.

My heart is heavy. Muncle liked to poke at me and I poked back, calling him Uncle Muncle. I loved his humor. I did meet him at that luncheon and the first thing he said was "I'm only coming in if Chelsea isn't carrying a gun." LOL He sure could be a nut.

My prayers are with his family. Well... there's one more bright star in Heaven.

This is truly upsetting news. As others have stated already, his wit was a welcome read for TOTV. I loved it when he would chastise posters who called him "Muncie" instead of "Muncle."
