This is so sad. I recall his most recent posts regarding "The Shack". I met Muncle at one of the first luncheons at Crispers. We both retired from the Federal Government and knew some of the same agencies and a few of the same people. He will be missed. I always read his posts.

I am so sad to hear this news. His great wit, honesty, and skill with words touched my heart time and time again. I was hoping he could stay with us longer.

Damned cancer!

I am so sad. I always looked forward to Muncle's postings on TOTV, because he not only toldit like it is or was, he did it with wry wit and humor not seen in many folks. He will, indeed, be missed.

Very sorry to hear this; I enjoyed reading his posts. Makes you realize how connected you feel on here, even if you have never met in person.

Very sad news. Although many of us have never met in person, I feel like I "know" so many TOTVers through their posts. Muncle especially. RIP Munc. You will be missed by all.

Muncle and I joined TOTV at very close to the same time, two years ago. A couple of baby boomers from the beginning of that big boom, sharing that common history, just a couple of old boomers connecting through cyberspace.

Munc and I had some good times bouncing posts back and forth for fun, off and on, for two years. I always loved it when Munc came out to play. .

When I joined TOTV, I was completely new to this world of forums. I did not know what a forum was. And now, here I sit, a woman at a laptop, trying to type, with tears in my eyes for a man I never met but somehow felt like I knew. A brilliant man, with a fine wit. A big teddy bear, with a little touch of grizzly bear – just enough. Our Muncle.

And I just have to tell all of you that I know that you are a really good bunch of people and fun to talk to.

But................

Munc was always my favorite.

Goodbye, my cyberfriend, Munc. It won’t be the same around here without you. But I know you are at peace.

As I was reading all these posts, I wondered what I could say that would show my respect and caring for a man that I feel I knew (byt never met). Boomer - you said it all.

k

PS - I was thinking of how he siad his alliances would outlive him - I hoped he was wrong, but, as usual Uncle Muncle had it right..
