There are many APPS for charging locations SOME GOOD SOME POOR.
Fords new all electric pickup has an APP installed with gps directing you to nearest location for charging when batteries are low. Besides your home charging unit.

Yep have the app on my phone, when one needs a quick charge, Tesla has a great app. Never have a problem finding one going to Kentucky.

Many of the turnpike rest areas have a section devoted to charging stations....some Tesla dedicated.

On the screen in your car it shows you every charging station in the country and how many stalls are open. And it will route you directly to it. At this moment there not many around us but I’m sure that will change soon. If you own a Tesla you pretty much have to have a 240 outlet in your garage or it will be a hassle to keep going to a charging station.

Saw a video yesterday of a person with a Tesla who had a small Honda GAS generator in his trunk, so when his batteries died, he used his GAS generator to charge it up.
