OP, do your homework and make sure the new LED headlights are complete units, I have seen units that have external driver circuitry. The plug (or socket) will probably be different so you will need to confirm the wiring for the correct connections. Finally, double check the current requirements for the new headlights these should be lower than the existing headlights (incandescent or halogen) but you want to be sure. Also if you do not get an entire assembly the same as the existing headlamps, you will need to verify the physical size.

I forgot to mention, motorcycle driving lights (LED) are sold in pairs, and one works very well on the golf carts, I found a nice set for under $20 on Amazon, easy to install, and I placed on a separate circuit and switch, and if pointed correctly these do not blind oncoming drivers and these are DOT approved.

Totally agree with motorcycle driving lights. 1k times better than the LED bars. Not blinding to oncoming carts. The ones I have also have high/low beams.

We all love those obnoxious LED center light bars many put on their carts. The ones that are improperly aimed up, blinding oncoming traffic.

Yeah, those center lights are not made for driving; they're made to light-up construction sites, or wreckers repairing cars on the side of the road. (they cannot be aimed down far enough. Period.)
Very inconsiderate people drive around lighting up roofs of homes. REALLY irritating to others on the road, people walking, and even shoots into living rooms.

In which cities is high beam use illegal? I have never seen anything like that.

I don't see anything in Florida law that restricts high beam use in residential areas.

dont know if you can get them if not do like so many are and mount them on the front. Make sure you set them to shine directly in the eyes of the oncoming carts.

(Most news cars now have automatic high beams that will automatically switch to low beams within 100 foot or so to. on coming traffic) just not enforced very often especially around here with little enforcement. Also any off road lights attached to from of vehicle have to be covered up on highway/roads, can only be used off roading. Not worry hardly no enforcement around here.

Absolutely NOT! While failure to dim high beams within 500ft of oncoming traffic is a violation in most states, failure to use high beams is a violation in some states. Driving around with high beams allowed (and sometimes required) until you meet oncoming traffic.

And none of that answers the question about the cities in which it is illegal to use high beams or where in Florida code it states high beam use in residential areas is not allowed.
